2006 Ticket Prices

I'm going to get a 10 day ticket with all the extras-no expiration, fun pak, park hooper. I think it went up about 30 dollars or so. I did notice that they added a day to the fun pak so really there isn't any additional cost. There were 5 visits on a 10 day ticket now there are 6. I think the real cost is with the lesser day tickets. I am glad the increase is only a little for me.

My APs expire on 1/16/06, and we received a notice telling us that if we renew by the 16th, it will cost us 298.20 for the adult renewal with DVC discount. Has anyone inquired as to whether they are honoring this price, or if it will be the new price? Member services is closed today so I'll have to call tomorrow. Also, does anyone know if there is a grace period under which you can still renew after the expireation date without having to pay the full price again? We aren't actually going until the 22nd, and in order to get the most days out of the pass, it would be great if we can push off the purchase until a little bit later. Finally, is the renewal you get given the same expiration date as your original pass, or is it given a new one with the new purchase date? Or, is it a voucher that activates teh first time you use it?

If you use the renewal feature it extends your pass 365 days from the expiration of your original pass....thus it would be 1/16/07. I believe you could renew at the $298 price since you have it in hand. The new renewal cost is $315 so you've got yourself a pretty good deal.

Purchased our annual passes on 12/30 on the DVC website and paid $295.00 with DVC discount (excluding taxes and shipping)...

Today, same pass on the website is $315.00 -- I'm happy we saved $20.00 each.
