Sirius just reminded me that we already knew we were in the 70's section, that's why we were in the parking lot labeled, "70's parking." The building in front of us had a "6346" so Sirius went up and tried that door. I'm sure the people in there were a little freaked! Anyhow, I am now wondering why he was trying keys in an 80's building. He said he didn't know it was the 80s....I guess all the Pac Men on the outside didn't give it away?
Why didn't they just tell us to go to the lime green buildings? That would have been so much easier!
A little side note: I guess we booked our reservation before the 50's and 70's were deemed "preferred." We did not pay extra, but I had requested the first floor, pool facing of the 50's and closest to the main hall. I was assuming Grandma would be using a cane. Anyhow, I knew nothing is guaranteed. I was so freaked out about checking in without the whole party present, that I didn't even ask what was available. I just accepted what they gave me so I could get my hands on those loaded cards. We also were linked under grand gathering and I'm not sure if the grandparents actually did pay for preferred. All I know is that their reservation said preferred, and since we were linked, we were all preferred. However, I did not consider our location to be "preferred." If we had paid the extra $10 per night, I would have been angry (ill for us southerners). Sirius said that if we stay at Pop again that he wants to pay for the extra for the preferred. When I told him that 50s and 70s are now preferred, he just made a strange noise. But, my focus is this: "If we stay at Pop again." Ok, our ressies were already made for the Sept trip, so that means there is yet another trip in our future!
According to Twinkie Mama, this is a binding contract! Thank you TM for helping me with Disney legal matters!
The preceeding doesn't have much to do with this awesome trippie, but I thought it might be useful for future Pop peeps.

POPPEEPS, POPPEEPS, POP-PEEPS! Pop-eeps
I got another cameo!

We set out on a mission to find our strange room number. Who knew that the 0 in front of our room number meant building 10?
Remember that MIL tried her best to dump Denise and Whiner on us? She asked if they could ride with us. No, we are hitting a park in the am, and they wont have tickets until Grandpa gets there. MIL: Cant you call him and get him to check in sooner? Me: No, you call him. Anyhow, if she was dying for those two to start enjoying the parks, wouldnt one think she would be at Pop at 3:00 sharp? MIL has trouble with schedules and time. This will come into play
well, the whole trip. I guess its about 4:30 when she shows up. After they are unloaded, we take them to the food court so they can get mugs, I show them a few things, and we get ice cream. I was also expecting a package at the front desk: Pop Window Decorating Box #5. While waiting in line, we spot a
Yep, fun times at the old Pop Century check in desk! Ok, now we have three CMs helping us, and after an executive meeting, they call reservations to add the cousins, but it will take a few minutes. The CMs were very kind and patient. They did ask if they were holding us up from a dinner reservation. If so, they were gonna give us something (I dont know what) but something so we could use the credits to go eat. I said no, just going to a park and our ressie wasnt until 9:35. Also, while standing there, I inquired about my package. The CM returns to say we dont have a package for you.
