2006 Rates

Does anyone know when the 2006 rates for FW will be available? I check the web site about 3 times a week hoping they will be there, but not yet. Just wondering when they release them. I am wanting to make a reservation for January and when I call the reservation line, they say they only have preferred loops available and no full hookup.

They should be available now because last Thursday we got new confirmations for all our 2006 reservations with the new prices updated.

I love having so many reservations!!! Now if I can just get everything moved to Florida

Strange. I called last Tues. and got reservations for Jan. 5-14, full hook up, pet loop, at 2006 rates (it was 49.06/night incl. tax). She said the rates had just been put into the system -- I don't think they're on the website yet, but if you call, they should be there. What dates in Jan. are you looking for? Maybe they just don't have your dates?

Thanks for the info. I just called and was able to make reservations for January 7-15, 2006. I requested the 1300 loop, but was told they cannot gurantee it. When should I call back about making sure I get the loop requested.

If the request is noted on your reservation you'll probably get it. FW tries to make you happy!

A few days before you arrive, Ft Wilderness has a scheduler who will assign a site/loop and they will try to accommodate your preference as noted on your reservation.

Don't call reservations about the site assignment, because they don't do it. They only note your preference on your reservation.

I got a letter in the mail last Thursday stating the rates for my 3/25 to 4/7 - 2006 stay have been set. I compared it to the original confirmation which was $64.00 to the new rates. The new rates are $76.00.

I wonder if this is a mistake. I've never seen the rates go up $12./night.

Anyone else?
