Here you go:

They're doing another 10 day Christmas Cruise:
12/16/06 – Port Canaveral
12/17/06 – Key West
12/18/06 – Day at Sea
12/19/06 – Day at Sea
12/20/06 – St. Maarten
12/21/06 – St. Lucia
12/22/06 – Antigua
12/23/06 – St. Thomas
12/24/06 – Day at Sea
12/25/06 – Castaway Cay
12/26/06 – Port Canaveral

12/26/06 - 12/30/06 - 4 Night Cruise. Should be Nassau and Castaway, but this is not confirmed.

The 12/30/06 is a Western.

What a great itinerary!

Oh yeah - its the same one we are doing in Dec. '04 :D

Oh I would love this cruise. Would anyone be willing to share what the price was for 2 10's this year? Each would have 1 adult and 2 kids? I think I remember pricing this last year, and it was way out of my league, but, a girl can dream right?

Does anyone know why or have a guess as to why they are changing the format around for 2006? I noticed that this year they are having the same 10 night Christmas cruise, followed by a 7 night Western cruise for NYE and then the 4 night special Magic cruise to get it back into sync. But for 2006, they've swapped around the 4 and 7 night. I'm curious as to why Disney would make the change, especially that now neither holiday cruise accommodates families with kids in school or college.

The reason is this year both Christmas and New Years are on a Saturday. So 10 days Sat-Tuesday for Christmas, then 7 days - Tuesday to Tuesday for New Years, then the 4 day to get back in sync. The goal was to not to have to turn over the ship on Saturday for these two sailings.

In 2006 Christmas and New Years will be are on Monday. So 10 days Saturday - Tuesday for Christmas. Then 4 days to catch up. Then the 7 day that includes New Years. For this they don't have that Saturday turnover problem so they can get back on schedule faster.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks Mary, but I guess what I was trying to get at is that with 2006, Christmas is on a Monday and New Years Eve is on a Sunday, so why muck around with the cruise length at all? I just think that DCL could have stuck with consecutive 7 night cruises and A. made it more affordable for everyone and B. it would tie in better with school vacations and college breaks. Just my .02 cents.
