2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006

How is everyone doing?? I have been reading, but not replying!! Things have been a little busy for us.

Krystina has had a lot of overnights for Girl Scouts, last night was at Brookfield Zoo, I bet she had a blast.

We have finally come to a point with our kitchen when we can put the floor in, so tomorrow, Sunday we will be doing that!! I'm so excited.

Hi everyone. I haven't been around much lately, and when I have I've only had time to read a bit. It's been so busy around here and now we're heading to the airport in a few hours to head over to WDW.

I feel so over packed. I remember the days David and I were able to carry on everything we needed for a week at WDW. Who knew that a 2yo and an infant needed so much stuff!!!

Anyone else get a card telling them about Member cruise 2008??? Coleen has the cruise bug again. Havent been on a ship in a whole year

We got the card in the mail the other day too.
It's not in the cards for us to go for multiple reasons. We are doing the Magic repo cruise at the end of August 2008, Nick can't miss school, and my parents are doing an Adventures by Disney to Italy in Sept 2008 and I think the dates are the same or overlaps the member cruise.

We received the card about the Member Cruise also, but we aren't interested in going.

We won't be on the next member cruise either. We are also going to be on the repo cruise and will just be getting back to PC on Sept. 1, so there's no way we could take another vacation so soon.

I did like cruising in Sept. 2005 though. We went to WDW afterwards and there were no crowds!

When I got the card I was defiantely tempted-however we had already booked the 5-day on Magic for Sept. 1 It is a lot less points, 1 more day and allso has 2 stops at CC. I know it is not a Mmeber cruise, but there are quite a number of Dis'ers already booked as well as DVC ers. The points were way too much-so i stuck w/the 5day. Also, better for the kids to miss a day or 2 of school the first week rather than 33 weeks into school.

I think we're gonna pass on SSMC08 as well. I'd really like to go, but Emma starts kindergarden just a few weeks before the cruise. Plus it's WAY cheaper for us with a FL resident rate and we're cruising at Christmas next year.

We were at Epcot yesterday and bumped into Cheryl and Todd while we were walking around F&W. The place was a mob scene and the rain started before I got to see the Village People. I couldn't tell you the last time I saw the lines that long. Nemo was 45 mins, Soarin was 110 and Test Track was 100 mins. No thank you, we'll be back in a few weeks.

Happy Halloween!!

Walker is besides himself with excitement and already up for the day. I hope we have a beautiful day here like yesterday but the forecast doesn't sound encouraging.

Cindy even Deanna is all geeked about going out tonight. I asked her if she was getting a little old for being excited about Halloween and she said "Nope, you're never too old to dress up and get candy"

Mary, Christopher looks adorable. Temps are suppose to be 65 today, you're right that will bring out alot more kids. Much nicer than our normal Halloween's that usually are rainy, windy and cold.
