We would have joined you had we not had that lovely 8 1/2 hour trip ahead of us. And I would have ended up sitting with you at the beach because I dont think the sand would have been good for my foot either. Thanks to Bruce and John though, it's just about better now!

I'm with Diana. The LONG drive home kind of put a damper on hanging out much after breakfast. While the sand wouldn't have bothered my feet that drive home made my butt sore. I'm so not meant to sit that long at any given time (except in hallways chatting with friends and having a Twisted Tea or Parrots Bay til 2:30am!)

Oooh, Ooooh me me! Well, Ted is doing the 6.5 and I'm doing 13 maybe doing 6.5 with him instead though. WISH Team has a great group going.


Erin, I'm sorry about your phone. It's my fault. I usually always have more than one # in case of this since Ted and I have had similar non-reception problems. I just have no excues for not asking for another number. Good luck with getting it resolved. April is long off...

So to all who have been celebrating--Happy celebrations! I've missed them ALL.

To those who have not been celebrating Happy UN-celebration. I've missed them ALL too!


I'm going to walk the Chicago Distance Classic in August with some of the WISH Team and will be out tomorrow a.m. to have a 10 mile stroll. It is lovely here and I look forward to being out in not as much heat as we've recently had.

Sadly, the day after my birthday was met with sadness. I got a call in the afternoon, that my cousin (39yrs) was killed in a car accident. I hadn't talked to her in years, but she left behind 3 sons without a mom. And, had she been wearing her seatbelt (which she always refused to wear because it was uncomfortable), she would probably be alive today. So, please, please, please always wear your seatbelt, so no one else has to die unnecessarily. And, squeeze the ones that you love a little bit closer, because you never know what could happen tomorrow.
