Thanks everyone for the Birthday greetings for my 29th Birthday

I celebrated in style.......I laid on the couch all day since I thought it would be fun to sprain my ankle last night. The kids made a great dinner for my birthday and even cleaned the kitchen too!

DD and I just flew back from a short trip to Montana and North Dakota. All I can say is "it is good to be home".
Next trip is MAUI!

Okay, question. When Flying into the Orlando Airport is there a place to purchase champagne in the airport?

Yikes! I found us on page 3!

We're leaving tomorrow to go Up North (does anyone else in any other state "go up north" or only Michiganders?) First a trip down to my sisters for her dd's graduation party and then we will be on the road. Alot of John's family goes and even some distant "relatives" - makes for an interesting week. No fear, I will be armed with the Captain's and Coke so I'll be able to handle it. Can you believe we won't have a tv or an internet connection? John will go into Petoskey a couple of times to the Coffee Shop to check for e-mail from his clients but that's our only connection to the outside world.

John wussed out and bought Deanna a cell phone so she will be able to stay connected

We go up north to Wisconsin or Michigan, my girls were in Michigan last week, but not to camp!...I agree with ya, Diana! My idea of roughing it is a Super 8.

We're up as far north as we want to be. Being we are on the "North Coast" DH prefers all his vaca trips to be on the "South Coast." I go along.

I tend to go to the "east coast" instead of going up "north" which is where I am right now. I drove to Delaware yesterday - and arrived safe and sound at my sister's wonderful place - we're having a family reunion later this week and it will be a blast.

We will be heading "up north" on the 23rd for Boy Scout camp for the week.
Nick will do his thing and Jeff & I relax, it's not a bad deal.

We head "Up North" when we go to Wisconsin. As a matter of fact, we picked Cameron up from summer camp "Up North" yesterday. Eight more merit badges under his belt (or on his sash ) now! Time for him to complete the two he's working on which are Eagle required so he can hopefully advance in rank towards the end of the year. At least that's his plan. Stacy, I can't wait for Cameron & Nick to compare notes of which merit badges they have completed.

This morning, though, it was like Cameron was never away when he smarted off to Walker. So, dealing out a fair punishment I felt it was only fair for Cameron to do whatever Walker wants him to do today. I think Cameron might think twice before he makes that mistake again.

Gail & Mary, have fun trips! Gail, I'm glad the Captain is traveling with you . And.....tell Deanna I'm still waiting for that call on the new cell phone.

Happy Monday! I found us on page 2, and decided we needed a bump!

How was everyone's weekend? Ours was filled!!! On Saturday we both worked, and then went to the Naperville Rib fest, Tim got sponser tickets from work, so everything was free, (Including the booze!!!!) Needless to say we were feeling good! Then yesterday we had to pick up my girls from their dad at Woodfield mall(The location of the new DVC sales center was still boarded up, but of course we had to check it out ), and then we went to a graduation party...Never seemed to end this weekend!

Hello God - can you please speak to Mother Nature about the excessive rain we have here and perhaps send it on to our friends who need it? I think we might grow gills soon

Hi All - I just returned from my sorority convention in Palm Springs where it was BEAUTIFUL (and 115 in the shade) to our rain soaked area where people's homes are slidding into creeks and we have some serious weeds growing.

Then yesterday we had to pick up my girls from their dad at Woodfield mall(The location of the new DVC sales center was still boarded up, but of course we had to check it out ), and then we went to a graduation party...Never seemed to end this weekend!

We were at Woodfield yesterday as well. Too bad we didn't see you, that would have been really funny. We didn't venture into the mall, just to Red Robin so Gary could have his birthday burger. But, sitting at the window, we did see another family that we knew. They were pretty surprised when Walker came running out of the restaurant towards them.

We'd like to see the preview center when they have the pre-opening - we're just not sure how we're going to make that happen with Cameron heading to MI with one of us camping for the weekend. If we don't make it during the preview, I'm sure we'll be there shortly after.
