Ok I know some of us have already done this but for those who haven't it might help. I have a sheet all typed out with our information. Helps from having all the cards out etc.


Member ID Card Number


Our three choices (not being too specific - just category and side of ship)

Dining time

Special dietary needs or special medical needs


Legal names of each person in your party

Home Address

Home Telephone Number

Date of birth for each person

Castaway Club Number (if you have cruised with DCL before)


I also have listed our Disney Visa number (don't forget expiration date)

What each of our choices will cost in points and cash (we are doing one of each).

What our current point totals are and which we want to use first (we have both Vero and Boardwalk points)

Getting everything down in writing now has helped me get organized for tomorrow.

Great tips, Mary!! I think that I have everything, except I need to find my Castaway Club card for my number. Other than that, I'm ready to go.

Don't feel bad, I have that same, mysterious "allergy". But, it doesn't stop me from eating.

Shhhhhhhh - Karen still hasn't gotten hers (or a Castaway club CD) and with all that is going on I'm going to have to buy a defibulator soon....

It's funny you mention the Castaway Club CD. After everyone seemed to be getting theirs after the last member cruise and nothing was showing up in my mail, even my parents who live 5 miles away and were first tom cruisers like us on the SSMC, got theirs. Well I emailed DCL and gave them my info, the replied with our club #s and said the info will show up in the mail in 4-6 weeks. Well sure enough it did an not only did I get one CD we got 3. They mailed one to me, one to DH, and one to DS!!

I called the Visa Company for anyone who is going to be paying cash versus points. If you use your Visa for booking through DCL you will get 0% interest for 6 months.

There are not too many good reasons to have the Disney Visa, but this is probably the best reason!

I'll start off with one (from my side of the badge). Several years ago I was working traffic and was having generally a lousy day. As anyone who works this career will tell you, an officer CANNOT let his emotions intrude upon how he/she does their job. (Yea right, and we all know an elephant can fly, hmmm). Anyway, working traffic and having a lousy day, needless to say I was a tad grumpy. I clocked a car on RADAR doing well over the posted limit and proceeded to pull over the driver. I approached, asked for license, registration and proof of insurance in stereotypical manner and once provided with the documents proceeded on the standard you were speeding lecture. The driver was very sheepish and apologetic, however with my mood the way it was the idea of a warning never entered my mind. That it until I returned to the patrol car and was examining the driver’s paperwork, for some reason they had and slipped the orange “Get Out of Jail Free” card from Monopoly in there. Giving the devil his due, when I stopped laughing and finally finished the radio traffic I gave the warning. Anyone who has the “cajones” or whatever to pull that can get the break. Of course I DO NOT recommend this action, as you know some of my brothers and sister is blue & brown have had their sense of humor surgically removed. Stay between the yellow and the white lines and drive safely.

I guess I should mention the last time I was pulled over :cough cough: Less then a year ago for speeding! Lead Foot I guess!?

Oh no!! I'm being punished!! I'm trying to log off of Bruce and back into me and it won't let me!! Serves me right!! I click log out, it says 'your cookies are being cleared, where do you want to go" and no matter what I do it doesn't log me out!! Am I going to be Bruce forever??

Oh, I had one too. Yummy, yummy, yummy. And, with this cruise having two days at CC, I'll have more opportunities for Konk Koolers. We'll all have to find a place together on the beach to enjoy. I only ended up seeing Cindy & her family on the beach and they ended up leaving us to go bike-riding.

I'll be plopping my tush down with all you ladies. Believe it or not. I did not have a Konk Kooler on the cruise and for the life of me I don't know why so I will need to have enough Konk Koolers for 2 cruises to make up for lost time!

And I think I only spent time with Nick (Stacy's DS) when he couldn't find his grandparents!

Ah that's right, you were the good samaritan that helped him when he argued about doing the snorkeling and walked back to our chairs by himself and got a little lost.

Yea I'm all caught up now. I had like 14 pages to read! 14!!
You should have seen me at work when people were saying to me "Have a good weekend" when I was leaving. I said just as long as I get thru to Disney I will!!

My friend Mike, that I sit next to at work, said he hopes I get thru to Disney this weekend too, only because he said doesn't want to have to sit next to me come Monday if I don't!!!!

I have to share my good news from Disney! I received an e-mail on Wednesday night letting me know I won first prize in Disney's Crank Up the Magic Giveaway! I won an iPod + hp and 50 Disney songs!! DS will get the new iPod but DH and I will be keeping the Disney songs (if they're not pre-loaded on the iPod).
