Everyones Christmas lights/trees look wonderful!! I'm one of the few up here in MI ,that puts up Christmas when I take down Halloween.I'll have Mike post pictures later.

I was actually surprised to see my kids "dead to the world"!! I believe the one from the meet was courtesy of Mark! Then there's the one at dinner of Julia with mac n cheese all over her face and her eyes are so heavy! I think her dining partner Gary took that one! I didn't get very far into them since there are so many, but Thanks for all the food pics Stacy!! I need those for my food scrapbook page!!

Okay... I'm very jealous of the folks on here that are going "Home" for Christmas! We've never been at this time of the year, and it's starting to get to us. Curt (who was very sad today over the possibility of moving) looked at me this past evening and stated that he wanted to fly down there tomorrow. No go, honey. However, if he doesn't move, we're definitely back on for our anniversary trip in early February! Another good reason for him not to move, in my opinion!

Hopefully this week will be a ridiculously happy week for us: getting the promotion, getting on SSMC06, and planning a February trip to boot. Think happy thoughts. Think happy thoughts. Think happy thoughts.

We're off to the Disney exhibit at Henry Ford Museum today at 2pm. We're excited about that. I'll let you know how it is/was.

Karen - You were up late posting. Congrats on the top, and you'll be to 100 before you know it!! Heck, before last years SSMC05 cruise, I didn't have that many posts, but I got SO talkative, that my post count rose very quickly.

Yeah. To say that I'm a night owl would be a slight understatement. It's the only time of the day that the house is quiet. I love it!

And, because of this thread, I'm confident that my post count will rise steadily. It really is amazing how welcoming all of you have been (even with my whining!). Thanks, guys!!!

Besides, it does make it tough to go on vacation.

I know what you mean. If it weren't for my nieces, we'd never be able to travel as much as we do. Amy even takes over my clients while I'm gone. She's a great kid! After my brother, Dave, died in 2003 , we took in most of their cats, as well. Now the kids don't have to worry about their cats, and we get free pet sitting. We're taking Dave's three "kids" (25, 22, & 19) down to WDW in May. It's partly to pay them back for the pet sitting, but mostly because they've not had much out-and-out fun in their lives. It should be a blast!!!

I'm so sorry about Blitzen. It's never easy to lose a member of the family, no matter the species. He's in good company with my rabbits up in Bunny Heaven.

Ok here it is - post #14,000 shared with all my (hopefully) cruising companions on SSMC06.


I met some of you on SSMC03 - what fun we had. Its where I got my tag about sailing under a DVC flag!

I met some of you at Member Homecoming - it was hot, hot, hot, but we still had fun. Magic Kingdom night was amazing!

I met some of you on SSMC05 - by far the biggest and the best group yet. Filled with friends from the previous two Member events as well as new friends. I'm so looking forward to seeing the picture CD's Chris and Amy made to relive those wonderful memories.

Which brings us to SSMC06. Hopefuly we'll be sailing with many friends from the previous events and meeting even more new DIS friends. Here's wishing everyone luck on Saturday so that we all get in!
