Ditto on the sea days...they are actually my favorite of the entire trip!

I'm afraid I might have a hard time convincing DH to go on a cruise that is going to stop at the same place twice, though, since he's never been to CC. Anyone have any suggestions what to say to him to get him interested?

Ask him if he'd like to spend two days relaxing in paradise!

Does he like water sports at all? Or nature trails/bikeriding? Or relaxing reading a book on a hammock? We seem to not have enough time to do it all with just one day on CC. I think having 2 days on paradise will be fantastic!!!

Tell him 2 days @ CC will save you money. Only 1 store on CC! :teeth:

I will most definitely miss our DVC CM - hopefully he's moving onto a better job if he has to leave all of us! :grouphug:

I agree and wish him luck! Annmarie

This is my favorite one!!! Of course, my plan is to go to WDW afterwards, so as we all know, plenty of places to spend $$ there!

Thanks everyone!! Keep 'em coming!

We are planning on WDW before and after Member cruise. Or maybe a few days at Vero. We have not been to Vero yet is it good for after a cruise?

Remind DH that 2 days @ CC means less money spent on shore excursions and no money needed for food while in Port. I can't help you when it comes to the bar bill or spa treatments! Just don't tell him that! ;)

Um, you could tell him that he doesn't need to go...one less person in the phone queue ;)... Seriously, tell him that you will be so busy with member events you won't have too much shore time... better yet, the truth might work; "And what, you may ask, makes you think you have a choice in the matter; WE ARE GOING (End Of Discussion)" More Subtle? "Honey, it will make me VERRRRRY HAPPY, which may make you VERRRRY HAPPY; Remember little brother Joe (Mommy calls him her little souvenir-nudge nudge, Wink Wink). Even more Subtle? Well, there is always putting a model of the ship under his pillow (the larger the model, the less subtle)

I wish the point charts were out already.....

I am tempting my DH with the F&W Fest... We are going to book a Party for the Sense for the Saturday after the cruise and get a sitter.... HOw bad is that.... It also helps that DH loved CC on our first cruise last month.... and mentioned how he would like to try a 4 day... So 4 day double dip with F&W. Oh yeah.... we are so in!

That's how it works in my house! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: I just tell DH the ressie is made, he should be ready to go to the airport on this date at this time, if not, he'll save us some money and we won't have to put the dog in the pet motel! :rotfl2:

Ahh...the spa....it's one thing I didn't get to do on the last cruise. Ever since I first saw the DCL channel on my TV at VWL, I've had a longing for one of those massages in the cabana on CC. I tried to get one on this cruise, but I guess the Castaway Club members beat me to all the good times, because all that was left was 9:00 a.m. I knew there was no way I could do that and still be in the group picture, so I cancelled. But....now
I'm a Castaway Club member too, and my chances are doubled since we'll be on CC twice. That might have to be my big splurge...that and an extra Konk Cooler!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: I LOVE it!!!! I think I need to try this approach. Thanks for the tip! :smooth:

That's the way it is at my house too. Chris just waits for me to tell me what we're doing, and that's it. His only request this cruise will be parasailing at CC, since he didn't get to do it this year because of the weather.

Ditto here! Robert, Jamie and I were really looking forward to parasailing, but just didn't happen. We did get to test the "swimming with the stingrays" and that was awesome. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to do it. The personnel from The Living Seas are running the program and it is an educational opportunity as well as then going in the water and feeding the stingrays and then snorkeling with them.

Since we are just floating out at sea for a day, maybe we could leave CC later and stay longer!

I think I may even want to try parasailing this time. Maybe if I start drinking my konk koolers now I'll get up enough guts to do it! :rotfl2:

Amy, we should arrange for Chris, Gary & Cameron to go at the same time. We already know that Cameron & Chris get along rather nicely. And, that way, if Gary decides he just can't do it with the height thing, Chris will be there and get to ride twice, once alone and once with Cameron.

They would have a blast. And, we could hang out with the little kids and watch them. (Can you see them from the beach??).
