I'll echo Laurabearz question about the Cat 3's. Did they not offer Cat 3's last time? I so wanted to book a 1 bedroom for this cruise!

As a Cub fan I am trying to be happy for the White Sox, but it isnt really happening... lol

And you don't need to be happy for us White Sox fans. We're plenty happy! :teeth:

The 2005 points chart lists cat 3 points but I don't know if they offered them

You will need to know your cash/points as soon as you talk to a DVC rep. no DCL involved with the actual room booking.

Good morning hopeful cruisers.

Call in day is 5 weeks away!

Only cat 1 & 2 were not available the last time. I expect they will remain unavailable this time as well. DVC usaed the 1's for entertaining, and the 2's I would presume for the special guests.

There were cat 3's available, but they didn't last too long.

My advice?

First thing when you call give them a phone number to call you back!

Keep yoiur call-in plan as simple as possible. Have at least three choices ready and at hand, in as a good detail as possible, category, where on the ship, even cabin numbers if possible.

Have at least three other category only choices as backup.

And if you don't get in right away, be flexible and prepared to go with what's left, because every minute you delay there are cabins being taken.

And last, and as far as I'm concerned the most important, be very nice to the castmembers you're talking to - they're coming in voluntairily on saturday to take care of what is going to be a day of total chaos, much more than the biggest shopping day of the year.

THanks Mark!

I want to keep it simple but it isnt simple! LOL :rotfl2:

My room choices.... Any mid ship Cat 3 (these are the only ones that sleep 5) Should I list the 4 cabin numbers out, or just say any mid ship cat. 3... or any Cat 3 that sleeps 5.

second choices Cat 3 with connecting Cat 4 (2 availble) (I am leaning towards making this my first choice, since I think it would be the least requested of the Cat 3 options, therefore better chance of getting it)

2 Connecting Cat 4's

2 connecting cat 6's (which will prolly be gone by the time they go thru all the above...lol)

you can call me jay... and you can call me ray... :wave2:

My teachers always said I make things much harder than they are.... :teacher:

Cant wait for those point charts.... :flower:

Good morning Gary - and a very Disney Day too you too! ::MickeyMo

Hello everyone, this is my first post since getting back from WDW.

PD Mary,

OK, we went to the member update, and they told us the itinerary...

Castaway Cay, Day at Sea, Castawy Cay. Still no news on the point charts, and the CM who was doing the Member updates is leaving Disney...

Talk at you Later...
:jumping2:

Great itinerary!

I think I know who you are talking about! Great guy! Disney's loss for sure but if it is who I think it is I wish him all the best!

That was the itinerary I was hoping for! :cool1: I don't need to go anywhere else but CC!! :cheer2:

Sad news on the CM leaving DVC. He will be truly missed. :sad1:

4 day double dip cruise... awesome. I was kinda hoping for Key West, but double dipping is GREAT!!

I really liked when we went to CC twice on the first Member Cruise!

bcvprincess yes, you can book with all cash - that's what we did for the last Member Cruise. You do have to pay in full on the date the reservation is made.

Sorry to hear about the DVC CM leaving - Best Wishes to him!

I will most definitely miss our DVC CM - hopefully he's moving onto a better job if he has to leave all of us! :grouphug:

How about CC, CC, CC?

I really like that itinerary!

No way! Don't want to miss out on a sea day. That's when then have all the best guest lectures etc. Plus I just love sea days!

I do too, Mary!! Even if it's just to sail around the waters of the Bahamas and right back to CC.
