Thank you everyone so much for your compliments on the wedding! We hope to share the pro pics soon.

The sorbet in the hands was also something we had asked for. Disney can do this via their vendors in many ways including a slipper, mickey hands, rose (some of our guests had this due to an issue with the manufacturer), skull (it looks cool btw) and others :)

I asked the foot doc about crocs. He said they exhibited at a professional conference he went to. Although he has not personally worn them he feels
any shoe without a back can be an issue. He highly recommends them for standing though for the great cushion but he says not for walking, although
a little better if you wear the ankle strap. He says they just don't give enough support to the heel, although the manufacturer disagrees with that.
Where as my ankle is part of the problem and it only started since I started to wear crocs regularly (previously sneaks..reebok) I think I will hold off on getting those Disney ones :-( and reduce my croc wearing days. He did recommend Reebok DMX and that is what I normally purchase anyway so I instinctively knew what was best for my foot. I'm gonna try wearing my Islander crocs more and see if I have the same problem.

Ilene, I wore my Athen flip-flop style crocs all ove Disney World in August and had absolutely no problems. Obviously, I'm not a doctor but I do know that for me, they provided enough support or the right support to not have my feet ache at the end of the day and not flare up my heel spur.

Strange how some things work for some people and not for others.

Cindy,
We will be at the hotel pretty late friday. So sign us up for the Sat. stuff. It's the whole family again. Thanks!! Chris

Julie and everyone posting the Julie/Matt pics. Spectacular!

I'm still trying to wade my way BACK to see about everyone meeting up.

--I'm seeing CP in July. We'd be interested.
--I'm seeing something about Chicago soon? Hmmm you guys make me jealous!

I need some help on the scrapbooks.:confused3 What do we need in them? I know we need sign in pages . With as many as we have signed up to do them.I'm thinking 4 sign in sheets. Is that enough? Two sheets made by our family.(is that right?)What else? Sorry, newbie here!;)

When the other scapbooks get mailed to us...What do we do in their scrapbook? I know we sign in . Then what? Thanks for the help!Chris

You've got most of it...

You need to set a simple theme with the first two page spread after the signin section that everyone after you is going to follow. Make sure there's enough 2 page spreads for everyone else that's going to get it.

And the same goes for the ones that arrive, each will have a theme for you to follow on the two page spread you're going to add to it.

That's why they're called circle journals, they start with you, make a circle thru everyone involved then returns to you full up of shared memories. :)

Wait a sec. This must be something different. I've had mine for 4 yrs or so. And I don't "fill" it with any toothpaste. I put the toothpaste on like normal. Maybe they've made upgrades to the system.
Its an intelliclean version...it has toothpaste that are small packages and it feeds up through the brush, and into your mouth as your brushing, you can push the feed button during brushing to get more. I love it, they give us the newest version free at the meeting every year, along with some other new stuff. I love to go, never miss it!

There's a new one out that you add the toothpaste tube to the handle of the unit, and it "delivers" toothpaste to the brush. Not sure, but I'm thinking you have to buy a certain container of toothpaste for it to fit.

Since mine is 6 yrs old I have to put the toothpaste on it like a normal toothbrush.
Thats the one that I have, and you said it so much better than I did...Do you work in the dental field??? :rotfl2: I should have phrased that better, considering we sell them to patients, I just dont deal with the selling part.

I received the e-mail and yesterday I received a card in the mail. Maybe I should mark it return to sender and send it back with a nice little message :rotfl2:
I received the same card, and I also considered sending it back, with a short note on how unfair they were being, but decided against it! Don't want to have any unforseen problems, ya never know!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Here's mine before it started it's journey.

I used a spiral album and it was really plain so I decorated the outside cover.

This is the inside cover. Most people don't decorate them, but I had a plain book that needed some jazzing up.

Then came the "rules" page.

Next came the sign in page. I made enough plain tags for everyone to sign and decorate on their own. This was a two page layout. Even with 20+ people, I think I'd still leave it as a 2 page spread in this style. But there were others who had a page where you just pasted something on their sign in page--there I'd allow for two pages.

Then I did my two page layout in my theme before I passed it on to Stacy.

As for what you do in everyone else book. That's why there's a rules page. It spells out exactly what that person wants you to do. For mine it was take a tag, put your photo, name, DIS name and hometown on it. Then complete a two page layout with your favorite memory of SSMC05.

Julie, the wedding pictures are wonderful...It looks like it was all a magical night for both of you, along with a dream come true wedding!! Thanks for sharing!

She's only 21! And I don't think she's interested in older men at this point!!

Sorry, Jeff.

No worries there Mary. Dana is a sweetheart but she is too young for me. For the record, I am 33 but I still get carded a lot especially at WDW. Last week in NYC they looked at me like I had 3 heads when I ordered a beer and took my ID out like it was a natural instinct.

Amy is the queen of Circle Journals. I'm sure she'll pop in with some expert advice. :goodvibes

The number of sign in pages you will need probably depends on what you are going to use to have people sign in. Everyone did a little different approach. How I'm thinking to do it is plan my pages, and then make sure that I have enough tags for everyone to place on the sign in page. If I need multiple pages, that should come to light because of the placement of the tags. Does that help?

You will do two pages in everyones book. These are called a spread -- two pages which face each other. That way, when the book is open, your pages will be together.

When you start out, you will have your cover pages, your rules page, your sign in page(s) and then your first spread. From there, when you receive someone elses book, you'll just do your sign in tag and spread in their book.

I've probably made this as clear as mud. I posted my pages a couple weeks back. If you want to search on them, you could find them or just ask, I'll post them again if it helps.

Mark, are you joining in this time around? Amy, did Gary ever sign up on his own? I suppose I could ask him tonight, but I'll probably forget. I"m off to take Cameron and another boy scout grocery shopping for their campout this weekend. They have a specific list and $$ amount to spent and have to stay within budget. I'm sure it will be an experience.

Then, Thursday night is my night for TV. :happytv:

OK, I'm going from memory here so I'm sory if I forget something:

Judy - Next time I'm home will be around Christmas so I don't know if I'll have too much time away from the family. When are you coming down to WDW next? Maybe we could meet up then. I used to live in New Milford so it sounds like I'm about 20-25 minutes from you. How far are you from the Palisades Center? I love going to see newly released movies at the IMAX there.

Julie and others who posted pictures - The pictures are fantastic!!! I love the one of you and Matt in RNR. The cakes are too cool.

I may be in for CP, just checking with the family first. Casey wants to come but everything must pass the family check and that usually takes some time. I want to leave Florida in July and probably August too. How many do the cabins/cottages sleep?

Ilene - Sorry about your foot. Good luck with the Reeboks.

Todd, Cheryl, Amy and Chris (and anyone else who will be in WDW this weekend) - Are you going to be at WDW this weekend at all? I'll be at Pop Century and venturing to all the hotels to film the holiday decorations so if you want to meet up somewhere I'm up for it.

Thanks,Diana ,Mark and Cindy! That was very helpful! Now , I think I'm all set. Thanks!:goodvibes Chris

I was thinking about this tonight as I sat at Cub Scouts. I think it might be a good idea to make reservations for lunch for the Chicago get together in December. That would be Saturday, 12/2.

I'm willing to do the calling -- I just need to confirm the place (Amy, I'm thinking Gino's was your choice, is that right???) Being this all started with your coming up here, Amy & Chris, I think it's only fair that we go to your restaurant of choice :) .

If you could reply here so I can get any idea of who to expect, that would be great. Also, do we have a timeframe in mind? How many of us are staying at the hotel Friday night? Are we planning on shopping at Archivers in the morning pre-lunch?

I just think with the holidays coming it's best to plan ahead. ::yes::

So, who's all in???

You can count Tim and I in for lunch...I'll let ya know about the girls after I talk to my mom and see how long, shes going to keep them for for on Saturday. What hotel are all of you staying at? And where? We will be Downtown on Friday night as was thinking of getting a room so we dont have the 25 min drive home that night!

River Road, not drive. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I'd hate for someone to get lost.

That's funny because we just made plans to take the kids to see Happy Feet at the IMAX in Palisades Center over the holiday weekend. I LOVE that mall.
