Whoa....
Apparently some undercover cops went around before the OSU game on Saturday and picked up a bunch of underage drinkers. They were taken to jail, got the whole mug shot, fingerprinting, changing into prison clothes treatment.

When asked about the incident, OSU's president Karen A. Holbrook said, "In no way has the Ohio State University or me directed anyone ever to treat our students — or anyone — in this manner."

I'm sorry...in what manner? You mean in the manner of catching someone doing something illegal and following through???

I'd think that maybe this 10 hours in custody would teach a better lesson than ignoring the problem or giving a warning!

No wonder she is referred to as Karen ***** Brook :lmao:
I agree...If they were underage, then they should have gotten in trouble...and the name is great!!! :lmao: :lmao:

Here is my song for the day. pirate:

YO HO (A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME) From Arthur Levine,

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We extort, we pilfer, we filch, and sack,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Maraud and embezzle, and even high-jack,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We kindle and char, inflame and ignite,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We burn up the city, we're really a fright,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

We're rascals, scoundrels, villans, and knaves,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We're devils and black sheep, really bad eggs,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

That's where I bought Walker's first pirate outfit. Whatever you do, if it's in a sealed package, open it and sniff before you buy it or at least before you leave the parking lot.

I went last night to return the original one I had for Walker that smelled of gasoline. I mentioned to the manager that maybe he should open it and smell it for himself and check the others in the same area to make sure they were okay. I even said it would be sad to have some child open their outfit on Halloween to find out that there was a problem with it. So, the manager opened the bag and proceeded to tell me that it didn't smell like gasoline, just plastic. I guess his idea of an ok smell is way different than mine as both Gary & I smelled gasoline on that outfit as well as one of my daycare dad's.

Naturally, they didn't have another one on their shelves in the same size, so I had to hunt one down at another store.

Something tells me they have one available for purchase today. :rolleyes1 I feel sorry for the child that brings it home. :sad2:
Thats awful that they argued with you...what happened to the customer always being right?

For me it'd depend on the quality but I mostly agree Tina that $75 is a lot of money for a tshirt

I have a song..
There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of every day
There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
And tomorrow's just a dream away

Man has a dream and that's the start
He follows his dream with mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true for you and me

So there's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of every day
There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
Just a dream away
That ones a little better than its a small world!!!

I'm here reading while eating my lunch. You know the way we are posting today, we may just hit 23,000 by tonight.

And congrats on 20,000 Mary. What's scary is you post total is only 2500 less than this whole thread.

Glad you had a great time. And thanks for that recommendation on parking around the Buffalo airport. It worked out just fine.

Good quality or not, I would never spend $75 for a t-shirt. It would have to be encrusted with gold!! Heck, I have a hard time paying over $30-40 for any piece of clothing. I guess that I'm just a cheapskate!!!
