Our daughter just called Coleen and told her some news.......................

She entered our granddaughter in a contest at Target (Ithink it was there) and she WON a Disney prize package. Disney Mp3 player, some cd's, a book and a carrying case for it all. She was very excited!

Hi everyone. I'm still trying to catch up (I'm on page 1271) but wanted to post this now in case I don't get caught up by Thursday. I am went in for my yearly exam two weeks ago and got "squished." All you ladies, and probably most of the guys, know what I mean. Yesterday I got a call to come back in on Thursday for a follow up ultrasound. Apparently, all is not as it should be. I do have a family history of breast cancer (mom and sis) so this is a scary time for me. Your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

MaryJ, prayers and PD for you, but don't go into it thinking there is something bad there. I have to go back almost every time I go because I have calcium deposits. The first time it happened, the doctor's office didn't tell me that the Komen Center said they saw some calcium deposits and that I should come back in for a more thorough exam (which is what they told the doctor's office). Instead the DO called in a panic saying that I had to go back right away because they found something in my mammogram. When I got there the tech said it probably wasn't anything, that they had seen some calcium deposits and wanted to get a baseline. That's all it was . . . calcium deposits. No biggie. Good luck with your follow-up. I'll be thinking about you.

Nothing here either :-( But I was tricked. As I pulled the car in this afternoon I saw a fed ex package in my door..alas it was for my son which
is actually good news as it may be an offer from a firm he's waiting to hear from...praying it is.

Thanks Cheryl. For me, I think the hardest time is coming back from services Sunday night and not being able to have the nighttime snack. Like Robin, by the time the holiday was over, I wasn't as hungry as I was thristy, but I still managed to eat way too much to break the fast

I also ate waaaaay too much and felt it afterward. It is a cruel trick to starve all day and then have a feast. MUST...CONTROL...MYSELF! I always think gee what a great time to start a diet but it isn't because you are so hungry that the diet never holds up when faced with a buffet of food, lol.
Ah well.
