$2.14!!! I think I'd get out of my car and do a little dance around the car if I pulled into the pump and it was $2.14!! It's 2.77 here and that was exciting to me.
It was $2.33 yesterday, so I decided to fill up my monster tank. Today, that same station was at $2.29. And, we're usually right about what gas is at WDW, so that's a good indication of gas down here.

Cute story, Diana.

I'm with you. $2.14 sounds like a great deal. I wonder if it would be worth a trip up to Michigan to fill up? Probably not with my gas guzzler!! It would definately not be to my advantage.

Prices around us are in the $2.80's. I think tops last summer, we were paying about $3.25 a gallon.

Cindy, it should be coming down around you...we were down to 2.63 this morning!!! I was jumping up and down....paid almost 2.90 last week! :cheer2:

Does Anyone Know When We Will Be Getting Our Docs.? I Am Leaving For Wdw The Week Before The Cruise.
Isn't it usually a few weeks before the cruise. So, if you're leaving a week early, they should come before then.

NOt a downer at all Jeff. If it has water Nick is a HAPPY camper.

I'm sure he'll enjoy it. Like I told Casey, it's not like the slides that empty into the pools, it is made so you can enjoy the slide but it won't go fast at the end but rather slow you down. I think it was all in her expectations and watching it about a hundred times on the travel channel.

Robin....LOVE the picture of "Pirate Ian"!

I'm going to be traveling with Ken to Pella, Iowa to pick up some parts for his business today and tomorrow, so won't be in chat tonight. Hope to see everyone on Sunday! Have a great weekend everyone
Thanks.

I was in Pella, once, when I was still working. I don't remember much about the place though since I was only there for 2 days, training a customer on the software they'd just bought from the company I worked for.

Well, we got a call (that means someone got in)

The lucky actor is......Nick. He got the role of Destiny, the precocious 4 yr old.
The director did say that he was VERY impressed with KT and that she was very talented, but her size was an issue. She just wasn't tall enough to make a convincing 12 yr old because Destiny would only be a few inches shorter than her. He encourages her to keep auditioning b/c she's good. :) That helped a little, but she's still pretty sad. With this being the WORLD PREMIER of this play (it's never been done before) she wanted so badly to be the original! :)

So that's where we stand. Rehearsals for Nick start Monday. Craziness will now commence for the next 6 weeks. :)

Congrats to Nick and hugs to KT. She shouldn't feel bad because she gave her best effort and things out of her control dictated the situation.

Thanks. Maybe I will take lessons from Diana and wait a while. :)

My kids love the water too. Anything with water will do -- even puddles like during the last cruise pre-cruise party at PI. ;)

We are skipping the 4 main parks this trip. We're planning Blizzard Beach on Saturday before the DIS meet and hanging out at the pool & renting the water mice after the cruise.

But...I was thinking about DisneyQuest for the Friday after the cruise. We took Cameron years ago downtown Chicago. Has anyone been? Stacy, did you go last year with Nick?

Julie, I saw you posted over on the budget board with a trick for Sunshine Rewards. Who else participate in this rewards program?

I just received my first $20 in Disney Dollars. It really couldn't be easier. And, I don't enter their contests or do a lot of online shopping.

Anyone who doesn't know what it is, maybe you want to check it out. It's really very easy and it was so nice to get something for free. Here's how to get there:

We're voting for option #2 since it looks to me that breakfast on the last morning in Triton's is at 7:00am while breakfast in Animator's Palate is at 6:30am.

Thanks Robin for the info in your previous post (answered my question of staggered times for breakfast the last morning). I called both DVC and DCL yesterday and was told breakfast times are not staggered in each restaurant but are staggered between restaurants and that you don't sit with your table mates but whoever arrives at the restaurant the same time as you. This was different from last year since we sat with our table mates. That could have been because of the special circumstances of docking in Port Fort Lauderdale.

The DCL person told me he sailed on 3, 4 and 7 day cruises and on the 3 and 7 day cruises he sat with his table mates and on the 4 day he sat with other people so who knows :confused3 .

They also do not have the information as to which restaurant will have the early , middle or late dining times and that we will find that out when we get to the port.

We went to DQ the year of Member Homecoming. We'd been there before and Bruce loves the place. I'm not good at things like that and I don't like things I'm not good at :rotfl2: so Emma (who was 8 months old) and I sat at the internet cafe place and played there for a while. Your boys would definitely love DisneyQuest.

OK, Bruce is home from work and we're off to snag some dinner (Red Robin, Stacy :thumbsup2 ) and go to Petsmart and return some jeans I got this week that are a little too big. I should be home in time for chat--so Curt, same some Valium for me! ;)

Who got jeans at Petsmart?

btw--Yay for jeans that are too big. You are doing quite well on your journey.

OOOH My boy likes it too! :rotfl:

Cindy - I love SR!!! I've done some of the offers and a bit of shopping, but mostly clicking and their games and we've got 2 disney shopping cards for $20 coming (I'm putting them on our account on the ship ;) ). It's wonderful!

It's one of the reason we have premium APs -- Do I hear PARTY AT DQ?
(BTW - Has anyone else heard that DQ might me on the chopping block??)

Curt - we have heard that as well and are bummed. It's a great entertainment location for those who like games. I LOVE the pinball game and the buzz game.

I just got off the phone with the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and booked Emily for a Coach package for the afternoon before MNSSHP on the 26th. I booked her for 2:30pm, figuring that it's a 20 minute appt and we have dinner at LTT for 4:20pm. So, I should get there JUST IN TIME since we'll have to make it over to MK from DTD. Luckily, we'll be driving and we don't have to rely on WDW transportation from DTD (which I hear is not the best).
