I hit submit too quickly!

I love all of your scrap books! They look great! It makes me want to try and do one this year or maybe get involved in the Circle Journals but I'm nervous since I'm not as talented or creative :artist: as many of you!

Give me a spreadsheet and I can work wonders but creativity . . . that's something else. I'm sure some of you read my attempt at poetry! Some people have it and others . . . well let's just say we try!

It must be something about the math minds - I can do any spreadsheet you might want, but creativity for a scrapbook? Not me. Everyone's scrapbooks look great but my pictures from the last five years are on my computer. I figure I'm saving the environment by not using the paper to print them. ;)

My CJ theme was Magical Memories. Here are a few of those pages:

If Boogie doesn't get to Erika or win to seal his fate into the final 2 I think Janelle will win.. but we've seen so little of the sequester house who knows (what is Howie's problem???)

Howie was obnoxious! I liked him in BB6 but found him to be disgusting this year. Then I read some nasty things about him on the spoiler thread and was all too happy to see him get evicted. I just wish it was earlier in the game. I can't believe that James and Marcellus didn't stick up for George! The only one who said anything to Howie was Danielle. Or at least that's what we saw after the show's edits. It should be very interesting to see what happens on Thursday. I think the HGs are going to be surprised that it will be Will entering the house next.

I was laughing at that too. They built that big giant volcano thing. It probably shook and spewed lava on them and everything....and it lasted all of 2.5 seconds! :lmao:

I was thinking the same thing. You know they expected this to be an endurance test and they never even got to play with the houseguests.

Diana Lyn said:
So I'm a nervous wreck because I just know no matter how clean the house is,

Ok, here's what you do. Straighten up a bit (dont' leave 1/2 eaten food on the couch) and when the teacher gets there, apologize up front for how the house looks....then say something like "I'm sorry, I had a choice to either vacuum or play a game with the girls, and since these girls are only little once, I decided to play a game. The dirt will be there tomorrow." :lmao:

Sorry Steve/Colleen and Tina - really I remember that Squid is from Chicago, but um having lived there I have a hard time considering those really far out suburbs as part o the city ;)

LOL

I'm not that far from the city...Just a straight shot up I-55. Probably 25 min(with no traffic)...So not out in the boondocks here! :rotfl2:

Great scrapbooking pages all!!! Like I have said before if I only had half of the talent that you guys have...Then maybe I could some scrapbooking! Oh well!

Wow! We really are getting close to two big milestones - 15,000 posts and 1,000 pages. I'm sure we'll get there today.

Mail Alerts - Did anyone else receive their Vacation Magic yesterday? I just noticed it on the kitchen counter. We also received a new Refer a Friend flyer too. This is similar to what DVC did earlier in the year. Refer a friend and receive a $50 Disney Gift Card. You can receive up to $200 in GCs. The good news is that the gift cards can be redeemed at select merchandise, ticketing, food and entertainment locations at DL and WDW. They can even be used aboard DCL or Disneyshopping.com and Disney Stores throughout the US. This is a much better deal than last year since there are more ways to redeem them. Last year it was only online at Disneyshopping.com.

Stacy I'll go back to school if you'll take me to Panera Bread :rotfl: I'm with Cameron and Walker - I love the soup in the bread bowl.

I hope Nick has a nice first day.

Not a problem!!! And you can order anything you want!

Well we have Nick's bookback all ready to go. I'm just nervous about him taking the bus because he hasn't really riddena school bus. He did for a little bit when he was in k-2 but my parents lived literally live about 200 yards from the elementary school that he went to so he walked to school rain, sleet or snow, so today could be interesting.
I just hope he remembers his bus route number and where to get off. He has so many new things to remember in the next couple of days. New homeroom number, locker number and combination, pin number for the lunchroom, and bus route number! :faint:

I'm just glad we don't live in Western NY right now. When the kids go to school they will be in lockdown because of the fugitive the State Police are looking for

Good morning everyone!

Stacy - good luck to Nick on his first day back at school. Hope he keeps all his numbers straight!

No Vacation Magic yet but we did get the referral mailing.

Question for all you scrapbookers...................

What do you need to start scrapbooking? Since I will now have my own space and DD doesn't want her desk and I have room...........And looking at all the wonderful pages........... :goodvibes

Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated!

Good luck Nick!!

That whole fugitive thing scares me to no end. On our way home from Six Flags we saw the procession of troopers going out to to meet the casket that was being flown home. There must have been 50 cars. It was so sad. Then Bruce found out yesterday that the trooper's dad used to work for him. :guilty:

I'm sure Nick will be fine. There sure are a lot more things to think about on his first day of school than there were when Shawn was in school. I remember those days with Shawn. I can't believe he is a junior in college already. Boy, the time flies!

I have bee following the fugitive story on the news. I never thought about the children going to school. This must be a very tense time for school officials, police, parents and students! I hope they catch this guy soon!

We got our VM on Saturday and the referral thing yesterday. Emma saw it and said, Mommy, that's mail from Mickey! That's one smart kid I have! :thumbsup2

Take it from a beginner. I'm not very creative but I've had a lot of fun working on the pages for my friends. I am very much looking forward to getting my circle journal back as it will be a treasured keepsake. :goodvibes

My pages are no where near the experienced scrappers pages. I am looking forward to the next circle journal as well. Please join us! ::yes::

I can't even read the stories in the paper anymore. I was reading sunday & mondays paper and they talked about the 2 trropers that he shot and I just tear up.
I'm thinking they find that guy in the woods somewhere and he doesn't make it out alive. And did you see some in his hometown think he's some kind of hero!? :confused3 Are you kidding me! someone who steals, breaks out of jail and shoots 3 State Troopers killing one of them...oh yea he's a hero...NOT!!!!!

I bet you are very creative and just haven't realized your potential!
Do the CJ with us! It will be so much fun and you'll be glad you did since you will have a "special" momento of the trip!
