If we can disregard the fact that he gets high and plays bongos in the nude!!! :earseek:

But does he inhale? :smokin:

Give the guy a break, he did go to a true party school, U of Texas.

LOL we ship worldwide Gary - we are experts, we ship to many service men and women who grew up in our area.

The real problem is Matt can eat a whole bag in one sitting.

I have been known to polish off a bag or two of chips in a sitting as well ::yes::

Jeff, congratulations on hitting the 300 post milestone! :thumbsup2

Ok, I'm really not cool with them letting anyone stay for the party to "hang out" to see the fireworks and parade. That's the reason that we pay $30 to go to the party!! Sure, the candy is cool and the kids like it, but it just seems ridiculous for them to let people stay in the park without paying!!!
I so totally agree. Why the heck did we spend the money for these tickets when we could just use our AP to get in for the day and stay. I feel like a real sucker now. :(

LOL I can see it now - On Deck 9 we have the chip eating contest between Gary from Illinois and Matt from Texas - who will win???

:cheer2: Cindy, congrats on 8,000 posts!!

Just to give you guys perspective of what may/may not have to be shipped here is the table o wedding stuff right now. This does not include 96 charger plates I had shipped to North Carolina to friends that are driving down.

I'm heading to Walmart now. Julia needs cough medicine and if I don't get there before the Pharmacy closes, I'm outta luck. I realize why the rules are in place, I just dont see how you can make crystal meth out of that teeny bottle of dimetapp. :confused3
There is probably a CVS or other place open. It may not be too much more expensive there. Actually, FWIW, a good part of the problem isn't the 1 bottle; Walmart will carry cases of the stuff. People were literally buying it bythe case. The rules are there becausethe government tends to be sort of all or nothing on restrictions. If you don't force total responsiblityto every small bottle, you risk the system being abused. (OK, I'll get off my soap-box)

Pixie Dust to all who need it... I am headed home for the night.

:figment:

Julie, Gary's nickname at one time was "scarfmaster". ;)

If I didn't think I'd be in big trouble, I'd tell you about the time we were in Sam's Club having lunch. You'll have to ask Cameron for a true description of the event.

Beautiful glasses!

That's a lot of stuff. I'm glad I'm not packing for you.

Maybe a U-Haul would be a better choice over flying. :)

Thanks Cindy - and :rotfl2: on the uhaul! I hope most of it will condense down and pack easily. My mom is a master packer (yes, I was able to take clothes, tv, stereo etc for a full semester to college in a 2 door grand am) and I hope some of it rubbed off.

Julie I am on the lookout for an Elmo for you. I found a Sports Illistrated for Karen so maybe I will have the same luck. I wish I would have known a few hours ago when I went to the opening of Super WalMart. That store is ok but no great opening sales that I was hoping for.

From the reports that I read about MNSSHP is that it went very smooth the first night. They said that they have never seen so many CM's in the park and that it seemed like everyone without a wristband was escorted out of the park before the parade and fireworks. I sure hope this is true.

Hey Curt did you forget about me????? :stir:

Thank you :)

That's great news on the escorting out, which shows that there are a lot of reports out here on the DIS (some we like, some we don't) and I really hope that escorting is the way it's going to happen!

Good idea Mary. Then the non-drinkers can keep an eye on all the kids while their mothers are downing trays on konk koolers and their dads are running back and forth to the bar for refills! :duck:

Diana you crack me up. I was just thinking the same thing as I read Mary's post.

Back from Walmart and NO Elmos to be had. :guilty: I even asked the girl in the toy department, who looked at me like I had 12 heads. She said they never got any in and she had started work at 6 and I was the 3rd person to ask her. It's gonna be a long night for that poor girl! :lmao:

Emma has dance class tomorrow morning, but we may head into Target and TRU just to check for you Julie (and my ebay sales!):lmao: Julie is going to end up with 50 Elmos, one from every state!

WOW Julie - good luck!! Are you flying with all that stuff, or shipping it down?? I would just worry about the 50lb limit on the airlines. But, I think that you mentioned that you're shipping most of it!!

Cindy my dear, I've for the most part put you in a leaky life boat in the middle of a tidal wave in the North Atlantic with a rotten life jacket (since Robin is already wearing the only one around). I figured you needed a smile and a twinkle. Also remember I said, "women who wont care" Now ask yourself do you care is Matthew is naked and playing the bongos somewhere on this planet?? Even if it IS at Bongos?

The kids left me stranded on my own in the guessing department today. It couldn't have been the big hint. ;)

My guess for today is Beauty & the Beast.

MaryJ, I still miss her in your signature.
Me too. She'll be back one of these days. I upgraded my cell phone today and I'm trying to figure out how to get my old ringtone back. It was "Be Our Guest!"
