Dress sneak peek photo from my fitting this weekend. Ignore the tags and safety pins - it's being altered now... you can also see that I will need to do some tanning to get rid of that lovely bikini line

Your dress is beautiful! I'm getting excited for you!

Curt - Congratulations on post # 15,000! That's great. I can't believe we are already at 15,000. I wonder how many we will have by the time the cruise rolls around.

I dont know if some one else has thought of this as I am answering as I go but wouldnt a DVC cruise be a FABULOUS place to make a MAJOR DVC announcement???????????

Alaska? -- Hawaii? I'm with you there, brudda.

BTW Squid,

(1) Is there a National Guard camp near Kankakee? I remember camping with the scouts in Kankakee when I was still an Illini...

(2) As a train nut, have you seen those trains being offered for the "trades?" Karen got me the police model. It's pretty cool...

We're slipping if we want to get to 20,000. 43 days left and 5000 posts to go means we need 217 posts per day. :teeth:

Edited to add - never mind. I was using Gails countdown which I didn't realize has WDW days in it. We have 46 days so we need 109 posts per day!

WooHoo Curt on post #15000:woohoo:

Way to go Annmarie on Page 1000!

Thanks everyone on the dress comments!!! I love it - now let's just hope it fits good on the 7th of October so I can fly home to Texas with it!!!

Diana - sounds like the meeting went well, don't you just hate it when people come early?

Curt - CONGRATULATIONS ON 15,000!!!

Cindy - lol I was wondering if anyone else remembered the wait... I didn't realize how close we were and went to lunch and poof come back and we are there!

Wow! I leave for a little while and I miss everything!!

Congrats on page 1000 and post 15000!! Major milestone day here!!

The teacher visit went as well as can be expected. Well, first she showed up a half hour early. :faint: Luckily, I had my clothes on! :lmao: So then I was scrambling and I hadn't locked the dog up, so when she realized someone was here she barked the entire time. :furious: Now because she's deaf, if I lock her up, she doesn't know anyone is there. Or usually when she barks like that I give her a kick and push her on her way (not hard just a little tap), but I didn't want to seem like and animal abuser, so the dog barked the whole time....I couldn't get her to stop. :furious: I put Julia in the other room with a box of crayons and a coloring book and that went well---until she had enough and wanted back in and decided to steal the crayons the teacher brought Emma. THAT didn't go well. She was nice and Emma liked her alot, I think school is going to go well.

Glad to see you survived. Next time, teachers turf which will be easier all around!

acourtwdw a big thanks to you and your brother for offering to do the bumper sticker. I'll be on the bus and I also think a bigger version of the bumper sticker would be cool!

Ditto! :thanks:

Ditto! I think the bus version should also be the same. :cool1:

We should be closing in on 100 posts for today already SO if we keep this pace up for a while we will make it easier as the time gets closer.

You know this brings up another point. I haven't heard from our guide since we first bought in. I've heard people say that they get calls from theirs when they come down (guide checking the res files?) and stuff like that... Ours was a very nice guy, we just don't hear from him.. hmmmm
I honestly don't know if we get calls from our guide, since they would go to David and he often forgets to tell me about these things. ;) But we do make a point to try and visit our guide whenever we're at WDW, or at least give him call to say hi.
