chipscinderelly said:Jeff - if only ebay would offer that option. Now I've only sold a few things long ago, but I have bought a few too and I don't think we can go for listings less than 5 days or so. I'm such a novice!![]()
Now there is the Buy-It-Now option.

I've done it for things that I know what price I'll settle for. It's not that much to add on to the listing and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Auctions can be set up to run for 3,5,7 or 10 days. I know several of us who listing 5 day auction just recently when ebay had a .10 listing sale. Instead of run them 7 days as we normally would have, we listed for 5 in the hopes of not ending with the masses.
There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to ebay. I've been amazed at what some people will pay for an item. I think a lot of it has to do with supply and demand but I almost suspect more that it's a case of I'm not going to let you have it, I want it instead. A lot of human nature involved. I've had auction go hog wild on items that I didn't think were worth the price the buyer paid. But, hey if your happy, who I am to question what you pay for plastic, toy curlers. I had someone recently pay almost $90 for a set of them. I don't understand it and would be a very rich lady if I could figure it out.
Diana made reference to my lunatic ebay buyers. I've had a few doozies. As my ebay mentor, I think I should just send those off to Diana in the future. I think I'll write a book and sell it on ebay.
