I think I need to officially go and get a life. I got an email today that the Doodlebops were coming near us in concert and I was excited. Actually they are coming to two places one right in the city of Albany and one closer to Lake George. Well I knew the girls would love it, and I can always bring my ipod and listed to something else. So get this--I managed to get front row center seats at one that's not in the city for a price close the the balcony seats at the other place. Guess there aren't many Doodlebops fans up north!

The bad news is the concert isn't until November 25th, so it'll be a while and Emma doesn't understand how far November is, so she thinks we're going tomorrow.

And I'm sure most of you don't know who the Doodlebops are---they're on Playhouse Disney and a very strange bunch.

Diana, you are an awesome Mom. The things we do for our kids. Thanks for the pictures, as I have no clue who they are. Do they talk in regular language or are they like the Teletubbies?

Time to start making a chain for Emma. Add a link for every day between now and the concert and let her cut one off for each day that goes by. Now that I think of how many days that is, maybe you should make one leading up to the cruise first to get her over the major hurdle.

Just as long as our plane gets in on time. We get in at like 2:15pm so I'll be driving like mad on the Beeline to make it on time (and for dinner with friends)

Rental car and like Curt said I'll be taking on passengers (hope your early risers!)

The day before

Thursday night MNNSHP, Friday EPCOT for F&W fest, Saturday ?, Sunday Fly home sometime.

I thinks since we have 2 days at CC it makes sense to do each way so that some can get some good pics and those with balconies each get a turn with the different views. And Like Diana I too have an inside room so I'll be meeting her on deck as we pull in!

Diana - What the heck are those things!? They have some crazy stuff on the Disney channel now a days.

Well doing lots of laundry tonight so that we can pack for camp tomorrow night since Saturday well be at the lake having fun celebrating my Mom turning 60!
Luckily the weather report for next week when we are at camp is all sunshine!!

Luckily, they are NOTHING like the Teletubbies!! They are more like the Wiggles, they're a rock n roll band and every episode revolves on them getting to their concert. There's a few puppets, they tell knock knock jokes, stuff like that. The last 5 minutes of each episode is their concert.

Of course, we also know about the Doodlebops around here too. We might head over to WDW next month because there are days that the Doodlebops and the Wiggles are going to be there.

Congrats on scoring such awesome tickets/seat! Y'all are going to have a blast!

We know the Doodlebops, or at least who they are. At first I thought they were really freaky, but they do kind of grow on you. Ian seems to enjoy watching them, too. I think I can handle just about any toddler/preschooler show out there - Doodlebops, Barnie, Wiggles, etc. Except Teletubbies - those freaks are NOT allowed in this house - EVER!!!

Big lesson to learn...don't tell them to early!!! I don't blame you for being excited. When my kids were little it was Raffi and Sharon Lois and Bram. We went to concerts and really had fun (hmphf there were no ipods to drown out the songs, lol). It's great to get excited about these things...it's why we have kids..so WE can be kids again! Glad you got that great price too.

None of the above. We're taking the Auto Train down, unless I have to be out of town the preceding week, then my DW will take the train and I'll fly down separately and meet her there.

It all depends on whether or not we spend Saturday at the park or just chilling around the hotel pool.

We'll already have our car, so car it is.

We'll be getting in Saturday morning and maybe or we just might enjoy the resort (We're staying at the Marriott World Center)

5) How many days after the cruise are you staying in the area and are you doing WDW?

Two. We will be leaving on Saturday.

I've always taken DCL Bus and never really paid attention as to the route!
