Actually, I went back to bed after I posted. We had just set the alarm for 4 a.m. to see if anything "special" was happening around that time. I wanted to make sure and wish you Happy Birthday as I wasn't sure how the rest of our day was going to pan out. Then back to bed we went.

Here's the kicker of our Christmas morning. Gary & I are waiting for the kids to wake up. Who waits for their kids on Christmas morning?!?

I went back to bed after I posted too. Woke up and couldn't sleep so I posted. Couldn't let this very important day go by without acknowledgement.


We are now home from Chruch and ready to enjoy a relaxing day at home. The parade starts in one hour.

Well, Chris and I didn't end up going to bed until after 1am. And, lucky for us, Emily slept in until 8am. She was SO excited and ran into our room saying, "There's a LOT of presents". All the presents are opened, we're getting ready to eat breakfast and I'll start our prime rib in a couple of hours. Then, after lunch, we're heading to Saratoga Springs for the night.

They are practically the same place. They are right next to each other. Ballston Lakes is next to Malta NY and just south of Saratoga Springs NY!

I thought of you today. My DH has a remote control fire truck, and he got it out today when his cousin came over with his kids today. They were having a ball with it. The ladder goes up and down, the siren goes off and the lights flash....it even sprays water from the fire hose! I know you would have loved it! Hope your Christmas was Merry for you and Gary and the boys!
