2006 DCL cruise dates released

In case some of you fellow Canadians were waiting for it (like I was), DCL released their 2006 cruise dates yesterday.

Unfortunately for us, the cruising dates that corresponds to spring break for Ontario elementary schools 2006 (Mar 11 to 19) has been designated by DCL to be a "peak" week, so the pricing is absolutely horrible (though substantially less for the week beforehand).

On the positive side, in May and once a month thereafter, DCL is offering a alternative 7-day Western Carribean cruise that includes two stops at Castaway Cay.

Anyways, as you all know, more info on all of this is on the DCL board.

When I called for this years'05 Spring Break week - in July- the School Board Secretary just laughed and said:
"Wow, you plan ahead...what, are you going to Disney or something?"

Lady, if you only knew!!!

We're taking the kids out...in January, in 05,06, and yep, probably 07 as well...for 3 weeks

AND we got a great rate on the Cruise!!
$3900 CDN, taxes and port charges in Thanks Amberle3!!

I can never remember which is which, Magic is 7 days..?

We have the cabins on hold until the 4th...but, we've been taliking about doing an add-on to DVC...
