2006 Assocation Meetings

I see that the 2006 Condominium Association Meeting dates are posted in the February Vacation Magic email received today.

Is there any real member input at those meetings, or are they mostly prescripted and a formality?

There is a Q&A session there. Q&A about the dues or finances and then a Q&A about general DVC. Plus they usually announce new information (such as the dining plan) give updates on what they are doing with certain resorts (adding carriage rides and a full sit-down restaurant at SSR).

It's pretty interesting. If you are down I would say go and check it out for yourself.

The meetings are scripted and fairly short. As cobbler posted, there is a Q & A session afterwards and the resort management in attendance usually stick around a while to talk to members.

FWIW, I recommend that anyone who is in the area at the time, attend. IMHO, it's worth the 60 -90 minutes it takes.
