2006 Annual Condo Association Survey

Did anyone else get an invitation to participate in this? It came in the mail today and I completed it tonight. It related to member satisfaction, exchange options, discounts, etc. The question I found most interesting was if the ability to extend our DVC membership existed, would we be interested? The follow-up question was regarding length of extension and the answers ranged from less than 10 years to greater than 30.

Another question was regarding what web-sites you go to to get info. Disboards was listed as one of the choices.

The letter states that key findings from the survey will be shared at the 2006 annual meetings and in a future issue of Vacation Magic.

We received ours today also and already filled it out. There were some other posts a few weeks ago about doing a survey too. Maybe they are sending the letters out in groups or something.

I got mine today, too, and am headed over to take it right now. I think the posts in previous weeks about surveys were in reference to the phone survey that many seem to be "randomly" selected to take. I get that survey every single time I call, so I don't know how random it is....

I mused about the possibility of DVC extending contracts about a year ago. I think it will happen:

What would WDW do with all those rooms in 2042? That is a ton of inventory to sell.

IMHO it is Free Money! This is a business. Why not get tons of folks extending now? That would be a huge windfall for any budget - especially if it is a down year!

Ok, just finished the survey...and guess what? There was a question about the DIS on there. A while back someone posted a thread asking if MS/DVC knew about the DIS or ever visited here. Well, here is the proof. I also included the question about extending DVC membership...

But the real question is HOW MUCH WOULD YOU PAY??? If just a contination of maintenance, its a no brainer... But then I'll be in the park in the sky at that point.

I got one and tried to fill it out, but half-way thru the program "stuck"...it had asked earlier if I'd visited WDW since buying into DVC (answer: no...we visited in June, bought in June, and aren't going back til Nov)...then, it asked when my most recent trip was...June...the program wouldn't take that answer (something about having said I hadn't visited since I bought so the date couldn't be more recent, or something like that)...I tried 2 previous trips and two upcoming trips...it wouldn't take any answer, nor would it let me go forward or backward. So, I guess officially I didn't take the survey. But I tried.

Sort of sad...I like doing surveys, especially about products/services I like...and I LOVE DisneyWorld!
