YAHOOOOOOO!!! I just got a call from my TA and I have my Cat 6 cabins assigned! We're in 6100 (my parents) and 6102 for DH and I.

VERY Excited! For those of you who are gty in cat 6, try calling your TA or DCL. Mine called today to make the request that we be assigned opposite sides of the ship. Instead she was told our cabins had been assigned. Oh well, we're not on opposite sides of the ship, we're in adjoining rooms instead. That's fine, I like the location.

Robin, thanks for posting that link for me again. I had actually seen it while trying to catch up on the full thread, but hadn't explored it enough to see that section on "which side." I now know we're on the Port side, which from the write up sounds like my preferred side. We'll just go up on deck if we want to see the goings on on the Starborad side.

Doesn't matter which side you are on. There are two sets of locks when you enter, so you could be on the inside, or the outside!!!!

Wow it's been tough keeping up with the threads... I keep getting "server busy" notices!

Finally recuperated from Hurricane Charley at the MouseHouse and now we're gearing up for Hurricane Frances at our So. FL home! The fun never stops!
One of our 'babies" Jessie, has been having problems too so I haven't been online much. Trying to catch up between vet visits.

May 14, 2005 is our wedding Anniversary... hopefully we'll get a ressie at Palo for that night!!

I agree with AZ Pirates, good luck to all of you bracing for Hurricane Frances.

My Grandmother lived in Port Charlotte, FL until Charley displaced her three weeks ago. She's now living in a hotel in Tampa for 4-6 months until her independant living facility can be repaired. I can only hope that Frances veers off!

My thoughts are with you all in the Sunshine state.

Just so everyone knows what happens when a hurricane is headed for port. DCL has announced that the cruises scheduled to depart this weekend will
change:

Disney Cruise Line continues to monitor Hurricane Frances very closely. At this time, it is probable that the storm will impact air travel into the Central Florida area through Sunday. Given this information, the schedules for the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder are being modified.

The Disney Magic scheduled to depart Saturday, Sept. 4 will now sail on Monday, Sept. 6 on a five-night voyage from Port Canaveral at 7 p.m.

The Disney Wonder sailing scheduled to begin on Sunday, Sept. 5 will now sail on Monday, Sept. 6 on a three-night voyage from Port Canaveral at 6 p.m.

Clients sailing the modified five-night voyage on the Disney Magic will automatically receive a 40 percent refund off their current voyage fare, plus a $200 shipboard credit to utilize during the voyage. In addition, they will receive a 25 percent discount off a future sailing with Disney Cruise Line. The discount can be applied toward any three-, four-, or seven-night Disney Cruise Line cruise only vacation (excluding holiday sailings) booked by Dec. 31, 2004 and commencing prior to Oct. 1, 2005.

Clients sailing on the modified Disney Wonder three-night voyage will automatically receive a 30 percent refund off their current voyage fare, plus a $100 shipboard credit to utilize during the voyage. In addition, they will receive a 25 percent discount off a future sailing with Disney Cruise Line. Not sure how they are going to have both ships in port at the same time. They are departing an hour apart, but it's not too often that they are there at the same time. If anyone is around, it would be a great photo oppotunity

Isn't it amazing how on again/off again we are?

We got back from Wisconsin fine, and the dogs had an AWEsome vacation. It was obvious they knew they were supposed to have fun. They slept all the way to WI and back, except when we stopped for gas, etc.

We've been glued to the TV for both Charley and now Frances. Prayers and pixie dust to all those displaced people (again)! We were talking at work yesterday about how disrupted your life must be at a moments notice. I just can't imagine.

Thank you all for the bday wishes!! We went to a Giants game at Pac Bell Park and had a great time. (Even though we lost )

Mrs. Depp socks...thats hot Well, I guess its time to brace ourselves for another hurricane! My work closed early yesterday so we could get home & start preparing again! It took me forever on the interstate from everyone heading north! We are still cleaning up from the last one! Well, I guess its one of the prices to pay for living in paradise! I can't wait to see my homeowners insurance bill!AAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!! Have a great but safe Labor Day everyone!

This is my story , We would have gone to florida for the long Weekend..

But had our new puppies Surgery To have her fixed Scheduled for this Friday (last) so we could Be home with her ...

Happy to Report after Just a couple of Days She (CHERRY) is doing just Fine Cant say we would Be if We had Gone To Florida ..

Would Not have Been Able to Get a flight down .Anyways....
