Debbie,

Good luck with Arlene, I sure hope nobody broadcasts from Orlando this year!

Renae

Renae, Thanks for the author msg, if I ever get the time, which I doubt, I will check him out.

Bob and all you other Parrot Heads, Radio Margaritaville is going to be on Sirius Radio channel 98 starting 6/15.

Annual income for the Panama Canal is 600,000,000. A titbit of nothingness.

Celeste, awaiting a picture of the rodent, guessing it is a rodent, please describe the habitat of the area near the pond. That may help.

Bring back some memories a short while back??

No Post cards yet here in WY.

Just took our litho to the frame shop, ouch but worth it.

My mom got hers from Panama before we got home. My best friend not more than 90 minutes from my Mom got hers yesterday... the mysterious ways of the postcards

Kay, that's not fair! It makes me look greedy, but ok... I did ask for more than one... lol!

Renae

I received my post cards yesterday.

Still miss everyone from the cruise. I got my pictures yesterday and wanted to be on the Magic again. I will never be the same. People are falling asleep listening to my canal stories. Starting to think about the what to cruise next.
I have met such a warm friendly group of people anywhere.

disforever, Kathy

Scott,

What color or wood did you choose for the frame? I'm curious what others are going to do.

I am waiting for the Peter Pan litho I bought at the first auction to arrive before I frame, so I can make sure I don't pick the wrong color for this one.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Remember, I just gave you mine also. That lessens it a little....

Just checked the mail and our post card arrived today.

Re the litho – I went with a double mat , base mat is almost the color of Ariel’s tail, then a light blue gray for the top mat, the frame will be a blue wood, that matches Ariel’s eyes or thereabouts.

I dont think anything would be lost ultimately as the ships would still want to go through t5he Canal and would just wait as it would be quicker than taking the 8000 mile detour. However if the Canal was closed for a long period of time that would be different

(Felt like being argumentative today,Elaine, you know what accountants are like)

Ashley

Ashley

Don't even go there today :rotfl2: I spent almost hour with an accountant who would just not listen to me (trying to explain why his client is not entitled to a certain Income Tax Deduction)...I was about to hang up on him when he hung up on me!!!! I guess we accountants just always think we're right!!!!

I had to go for a walk after that conversation but we're having a heat wave here. I feel like I'm back in Panama - with the humidex it's 106F!!!!!!

Elaine

edited to add that this is my first TOP!!!!!!!!

Kay,

I didn't get a link to your photos, do I need to look somewhere?

Scott, that sounds great! I love the matting matching her tail and frame to match her eyes... I'm going to do a whole wall in the TV room of stuff from this cruise. I can't wait to see my family's faces. They'll just roll their eyes and say we're obsessed! I'll say yeah, so? lol.

Renae

Elaine,

If you have to live with that kind of heat, you should just be here in Florida, we don't have to deal with winter!

Renae

Shari and Ken: Tell Staci congratulations on the graduation!!

Now, I think it just gets more expensive from here!

They are in Ofoto - Not all are listed as yet. I didn't take 1/3 of what most people took.
