Back from Chat...now I'm worried more than ever that I won't be able to get a pin or 2...they were talking about riots...and tazers...

Kay...it's a shame you couldn't get into the chat...there were alot of Westbounders on there.

It is cool, isn't it?? I think I may buy the movie, "House of Flying Daggers" for the cruise. What a neat little machine this thing is!!!

Brian, Since you were the cause of her spending all that money not sure I should share a cost saving tip with you but here goes. The movies for the PSP are at WALMART and some start as low as $12.00 Pirates is $24.00 the one in Northlake today had about 12 movies.

It is a new device from Sony called Portable Play Station

It not only plays games but it also can play movies from a small dvd type disk. Disney just released Pirates of the Carribean for it and there are about a dozen other movies as well. it also does a ton of other stuff, just really cool.

This is the first time I have seen it...I may have seen it once as a nursing student. None of the nurses I work with have seen it before- there were people from ALL over the hosptial coming to look at it. They were taking pictures and sending them all over the country for verification...we have no ID doc on staff- only at main campus. Pt spiked a BIG fever- put off debridement until the chamber would be in place.

I sent him for an MRI and his leg looked completely different than when he went for the test. IMPRESSIVE!!! WE were trying to decide if it was or wasn't....

I just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone....I had a really BAD day at work today. If the words ARTERIAL SPRAY mean anything to you- then I don't need to say anymore....and if they don't-
just know nurses don't really like it when their patients blood is spraying across the room. (NOT so fond of that!) We also don't like doing surgery in the patients room- versus in the oper. room.

I hate to say it, but I fear tomorrow will be worse....but it will be the last of my three shifts....and the beginning of four days off.

Better go to bed- I have to be up in 6.5 hours....

I have problems getting in to chat rooms too. I have to shut down my software firewall software first. Then it works fine. I get a little nervous doing that but hopefully (knock on screen) my router firewall will protect me during chats!

WHERE:The Disney Magic, Promenade Lounge, Deck 3 (near the AFT elevators)

TIME: 12:30-1:30 PM

WHAT: You will be making FOUR scrapbook pages in the hour. All supplies will be provided. Come prepared to take home your pages. All you will need to do is add your pictures!

QUESTIONS????Please PM me and I will respond, or ask away here, and I'll fake my way through a logical answer.

WHAT IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO SCRAPBOOK? No worries! Everyone is welcome! This will be an easy, fun, creative time and the worst case scenario......you get to spend quality time with your DisBoard friends and family.

CAN YOU STILL SIGN UP IF YOU HAVEN'T YET?YES! But please PM me with your names and number of scrapbookers attending. Since I am putting together packets prior to cruising, I really need to know the number planning on attending. Also, I will be using the Mini Navigator to have Zazu's Crew post a note on your door the night before to remind you of the time and location (in case of any last minute changes), so make sure I know your stateroom number.

I will be posting a list of all of those who have PM'd me so far or from others (i.e. spouses) who have sent me your name and said you were participating.

I believe we will be doing the scrapbook "grab bag" exchange at the same time. If that changes, I'm sure it will be posted here.

Do you take Fosomax?? I am on 70 strength. Have 3 broken bones in backs right now but can't fix right now. Can't put the pressure of operation on my tummy from laying on my back right now. They are going to do the new procedure called, kyro - something or other. It is where they inject cement type substance between the vertebre to keep them apart from each other. Just another thing I have to look forward to. yea yea really looking forward to it !!! NOT

It's snowing here in Canada (or as Randall says CehNehDeh!!!). This is just not right. Last week I was wearing shorts, capris and sandals and now it looks like I will dragging back out my winter jacket.

Thanks Elaine, I hope they do something to eliminate the riots and lines also. I was one of the many that sent an email.

Of course we are still partners for the great scavenger hunt! I'm not bringing sneakers, so hopefully we won't have to run too fast

I hear you all on the "spring tease" that everyone experienced last week. We've had rain, heavy at times since Friday. No sun today either. That's okay though, I've got way too much to do inside today!
