Tell you what, Linda.

Let's switch houses for a while. I won't mind the snow at all.

Funny, you want what you don't have :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

A friend of mine just returned from a trip on Southwest Airlines. Like me, she's a frequent flier. She advised me that when she checked in, her bag weighed in at 55 lbs. Southwest was about to charge her if she didn't get the weight down on the bag. Apparently, they've tightened their weight restrictions (and are enforcing it) because of the TSA's baggage handling. I wouldn't have given it much thought except they caught her on both the outbound and return flights!

Fair warning to all of us fliers. If Southwest is enforcing and charging extra weight... then the rest are most certainly doing the same. At least Southwest is still 3 bags per person whereas I've heard that the others are 2.

Time to trim out the unecessary items.

Steve,

C'ome on down to PO! I'll have the welcome mat out!

If you're a coaster nut, I assume you know about the big one being built at the Animal Kingdom. It's supposed to be one of the highest, fastest and most 'G's out there. It opens next summer sometime, but you can see the top of the frame now. Vroooommmm.....

We are flying home Delta and allowed 2 bags each. Have already pre-warned DH that be prepared to pay extra weight - I can't take anything out. So we'll just have to pay it and forget it !!!!

My pin bag alone is over the weight and I don't know what to take out. So that leaves us with three bags left.

At least we will just have to pay one way home, as we are renting a car to go to the Port from Ft. Laud.

I'm an office manager at an Insurance/Stock Brokerage firm. I was born and raised here in Oregon and can't see myself living anywere else. As a kid our vacations were always camping and never got on a plane until I was 12 when we went to Maui. My first trip to Disneyland was when I was 18 and absoulty fell in love with it. I enjoy card making, reading and outdoor activities (camping, boating, hiking, beachcombing, ATV riding etc.)

DH (Criag) drives for Schwan's Home Delivery. He was transfered to Bend Oregon on the 18th of this month as that is where we will be moving to. He was also born and raised in Oregon. He enjoys gaming (computer and console).

We met at college in 95 and were married in 99. We honeymooned in Disneyland. We knew that we wanted to travel so that is what we have done. Four trips to Disneyland, Two at WDW and Three DCL Cruises. Our other trips are camping in our travel trailer and going to Las Vegas for the NASCAR races.

Now however, it is time to start a family. We will be moving to Sisters in the next year to live on a large acerage with my parents. I will be a stay-at-home mom as well as help out around the property.

My Mom (who is traveling with us) was born and raised in Oregon as well. She and my Dad have been married for 36 years. My Dad does not like to travel that much (just camping and hunting) so DH and I invite my Mom on our vacations (she loves to travel). This will be her second DCL cruise. She likes to make cards, shop and decorate her house. She is a house wife and my Dad is doing consulting work (he retired from Willamette Ind. 3 years ago).

We share custody of their dog, CC. She is with me right now keeping me company while my DH is gone.

My favorite hobby is travelling around the country riding roller coasters. I've been a coaster enthusiast for about eight years now and have met some great people from all around the country and have been to some fantastic parks.

We are a bit chicken ,the Disney Coasters are about as far as we will go.We were just about brave enough to ride Rock and Roller Coaster.

TELL ME TO BE A GOOD GIRL AND GO STUDY..... :teacher:

One last thing- does anyone usually do the music challenges in the Prominade lounge for the medals? Robb and I usually do- he's really good at jazz, swing, and big band music due to playing the sax in many bands. WE both are good at 80s music.....anyone else do this?

The trouble with being in England is we are always posting at different times from most of you as we are 5 hours ahead of Eastern Time.

Would she take your REAS ressies? I spoke to her several weeks ago and she said there's plenty of time...but I'm ready now! :earsgirl:

Thanks, Liz

I called Debbie this morning at 407-566-7411 for our REAS. I booked our Palo dinner, Palo brunch, High Tea, and our couple's massage. Unfortunately, we have to miss our first formal night because of Palo but we wanted to dine there on our anniversary.

While we still don't have our docs, I think I feel the need to get down with my Palo dance! :cool1:

Yeah, I know. They look the same. It's the only move I have!

Renae, I know all about Expedition Everest! I can't wait. I watched some of the construction the last two times we visited. It looks amazing! I'm jealous we aren't getting one in California! We will see if you are around when we arrive. We'd love to meet you before the cruise!
