We subscribed to Sirius a few years ago and the vacation channel is great. Really enjoy listening to it when it is snowing outside. It gives you that tropical feeling even in winter. Alot of Jimmy Buffett, Israel Ka????? from Hawaii, Harry Bellafonte, Kenny Chesney and Bob Marley. It's Five O'clock Somewhere!!!!!

DU tried to get my $50 stateroom credit, but DCL won't give it to me (...yet) because we booked the cruise on 2 different Disney Visas - mine + my DH! Go Figure! DL is going back to DCL to see what can be done.

Um...hate to say it, but you're best bet here is to pack for what you want to participate in, not for what DCL's flavor of the day is. Otherwise, you may just go stark raving..well...mad trying to figure this conundrum out.

Those of us on the 10-day holiday cruise will tell you that from day to day, DCL could not keep their story straight as to how many formal and semi-formal nights we would have. We ended up with two formal and one semi-formal, but most people were not expecting that. Personally, we're packing for two formal and two semi-formal. I figure why not? If nothing else, I can wear one of the outfits to Palo.

As for the Pirate/tropical, I'm guessing they mean one of each. They did one of each on the 10-night. I can't imagine they would suddenly combine them for a longer cruise...but then again?

No worries, Mon! That's my motto this time around.

How many nurses are on board? Usually there's a bunch due to flexible scheduling on units... just curious if there's a night to share war stories... I've got alot of ammo from my last two nights at work...
I'm determined to learn to knit this cruise. I want to make a baby blanket for our new little buddy Roarke. He's a cutie, even if he did puke on me today, so k, mom was way more upset then I was, since I spent most of last night at work getting puked on by our gastro kids....
We're using the last of our payments for the Scavenger Hunt book to buy the Canon Digital Rebel that I have been wanting. I'm a film snob, and digital usually doesn't do it for me, but the newer digital SLR's a close enough for me. My serious photography still gets done with B&W film with matte prints on this ancient Konica I have. Still the best photos I have ever taken is on that camera.
Jeff and I are still around, he updated the list tonite and deck plans. We've both been insane with work. Keep sending us the updates, we'll be updating the lists, but it just takes us a couple days to get to it...

Jen: I'm visiting my twin sisters next week in S.C. and they e-mailed me over the weekend and told me that I was going to learn how to knit when I get there. They recently learned and knitting everything that they can. Sent me so many scarfs so far that I don't know what to do with them.

Hmm somebody mentioned Muppets...it would be great if they have the Muppets Wizard of Oz on board. It think it airs during May sweeps. It looks very funny, I've seen the preview 3,423,454,393 times in my store!

On another note (where is DisneyPinDiva???) I tested a bottle of wine tonight for the safety of others at the wine tasting. Wanted to make sure my vintage 1995 Fume Blanc hadn't turned to vinegar. It was quite tasty. Somehow only a third of it made it into the wine reduction sauce...the other two thirds disappeared somewhere. I dunno where...hmm...and I went straight to bed after cooking...hmm......hence why I am up at 430 in the morning! I'm bringing some 2000 or 2001 varieties...whichever one was the better year of my favorite wine. There are some empty spaces in the wine fridge, time to stock up!!!!!!!!!

War stories are good to put things in perspective for sure. I do Disney things to get totally away from work and enjoy my own fantasy world. Up at 3:00am thinking about work.

We recently purchased the Canon Digital Rebel and love it. It takes excellent pictures. It is very easy to use. I would appreciate some tips from those who use SLR cameras regularly. I want to take pictures of the shows, particularly Disney Dreams. But I can't figure out what settings to use. I'm a fully automatic user right now. Not sure we could have waited, I'm a slow learner.

The Digital Rebel just went on sale at Best Buy. A new model is coming out. Canon had a great rebate offer at the time we bought so we also got a telephoto lens and carrying case. Still debating on the wide angle lens (fisheye?) lens. Oh, and we still need to get the 1Gig memory card.

Now, about the Muppets!! I can see a conga line snaking through Deck 3 with all of us singing "We've got cabin fever!"

Gee, the only thing I wake up in the middle of the night to worry about is everything....Got some herbal sleep stuff last week, and even Keith's snoring isn't stirring me this week until about 5am.....miracle stuff! I usually have to save my good sleep for cruises!! I say its all that oxygen pressing in on me....and the rocking doesn't hurt!!!

I'm originally from Greeley, CO. Where is this vineyard? I'd be very interested to hear what they produce. We are going to bring a few bottles from the winery in Clermont, Florida. It's not that bad.
