Sorry for all of the posts at once guys - busy weekend, and now I'm all caught up!

DisneyDreamer8, count DH & I in for the sail away party! Not sure about my parents, so I wouldn't worry about them for the count. If that changes, I'll let you know.

Welcome Kevin & Randall! If you're curious about the events we have planned for the DIS folks, Jeff & Jen's DIS Activities Site has them listed. Just give a shout out on the board for those you want to attend.

I will repost the list of those attending the wine party sometime today. For those who have PM'd me or Ken, we have you on the list!

Oh, and Ken or Shari, can you please email me the pic too? I love it! It turned out great, I would love to print it out. Eric took our camera to work with him today and said he looked through all the pics I took yesterday...

You guys are 49er fans?!? Of course they are my favorite team, but I'm from the Bay Area and have lived here all my life!

Ken and Shari, I just cannot tell you enough how much we appreciated being there with you guys yesterday! We just had the best time! And our ride on ToT was the PERFECT way to cap the day. Now the drive home... that took about 6hrs, including a stop for dinner at In-n-Out. Yum!

Surprisingly, I got more sleep last night than I thought I would. I feel pretty good, but no, not very productive - just as anticipated... I guess everyone just has to have those days once in a while.

Just did a quick skim through the posts - but I think I saw that you're looking into direct transportation to the Tropicana? I think that's a good idea. Looks like you got accurate info already. It would be quite a trek from the GC over to Harbor with luggage in tow. I can just see the looks on the faces of the security screeners if you went the most direct route with 14+ days of bags!

I really want to thank Ken and Shari for including us yesterday as well. We had such a good time and really enjoyed meeting everyone!

We actually made it home in a little less than 6 hours (only about 15 min. less) and that was after running out of gas! Luckily we ran out on the exit ramp and within sight of a gas station, so it didn't slow us down tooo much..... Of course dinner was purchased at the mini mart where we filled up - yum!

I'm not completely sure that there is "sail-away party gift giving etiquette". First and foremost, no one should feel that they have to bring something. The sail-away Dis meet is mostly to get together and meet people for the first time. Several of us (Az Pirates, karaeric, seaulater, and kpros) are working on name badges and lanyards for everyone. One year, someone brought lifesavers (the candy) with home made wrappers with the ships name and sailing date. So, if you feel up to it, just about anything is fair game.

But again, no one should feel that gifts are required to participate. New friendships are the best gift of all (OK - that was real mushy).

I agree with Ken, just come and have a good time. If you think of or see something that's appropriate, then bring it along. But it's not required or necessary. I'm looking forward to creating some new friendships - I'm already thrilled because I'll get to see Kara, Sheila, Kerry, Linda and Karen again

I can totally relate to the virus that is going around. I had it after the new year and was out of commission for 2 weeks (one in bed)! All you can do is rest...it takes a while to get your energy back. Hopefully you have a laptop to bring to bed for company! Hope you feel better soon!

Bettemom (Bette and Kim) and Cash and I discovered we are all staying at the Hyatt MCO Friday evening before the cruise and decided to meet for dinner. If anyone would like to join us for a major cool dinner mini-meet at a place at MCO near the Hyatt (anyone have a recommendation?) please contact Lynda by PM.

I'll be arriving around 5:35 that afternoon...I think I'm the last so far so I was thinking around 6:00...??
