Hello - we like to go in January. Very low crowds, but it is cool. We dress in layers. We've gotten so spoiled about the low crowds, I can't imagine going any other time of the year. February is pretty good, too. Just avoid Martin Luther King, Jr day in Jan and President's day in Feb.

I am Canadian and dont know when those weekends are can you please let me know. btw how cool is cool I want to be able to wear shorts

thanks Diane

MLK is Monday January 17, 2005. President's day is Monday February 21, 2005. January and beginning of February are Value Season, so rates would be lower than the end of April which is Regular Season. ~:D~

If your priority is weather than your safest bet is April. I have done January and february and sometimes it has been cold and jeans were in order....but I have also hit hot days and they were wonderful. Easter is early in 2005(March) so I have pre planned a trip for April 16 or so which will be regular season. Besides the flower show at Epcot will start around that time. You dont say where you are from but I live in Buffalo about 10 minutes from the Canada border.....going to WDW in Jan,Feb or March makes it seem worse when you have to come back to the snow at home. The crowds in mid to late April will be low as all the rush of Easter and spring breaks are over. Yes the prices on the resorts will be higher but not by that much and I am sure you will be able to wear shorts and   sunglasses. If price is your priority stay at a value prehaps there will be a code which would be wonderful......or (not for me) stay at DTD.
What ever you decide have a great time planning your trip. I have been there a lot and in December will be my 50th time. To me the vacation starts the day I start planning. :bounce: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:
