Last year, MonorailDude and ZurgsWife spearheaded a Walt Disney World Survivor game which was lots of fun. So, in an effort to make this an annual summer tradition here on the DISBoards, I thought we could do a 2005 edition and see if opinions have changed (I won't reveal last year's winners until the end).

So, we'll start with the Magic Kingdom. Here are the rules:

I'll list the rides/major shows in the Magic Kingdom. Then you vote for one ride to be voted out of MK. 5 votes get the ride out. Every now and then I'll check back (or you are more than welcome to help) and make a tally of the votes. After a ride gets voted out, the list will be updated and the ride will not appear on the list. The remaining rides will have a clean slate -- so you'll have to vote again to get your least favorite out. The last ride to remain is the MK Survivor Champion! Sound good? (Hopefully zurgswife and monoraildude don't mind me copying the above almost word for word!)

Please remember to look at the updated list of rides/shows so that you're not voting for something that's already been eliminated.

And the choices are:

To get the ball rolling -- and to show an example -- I'll go first.

My vote goes to Stitch's Great Escape -- I don't like this one one bit.

I vote for the Country Bear Jamboree. When I was there 15 years ago I LOVED it. But when I was there in May I actually walked out of it because it was too boring, just not funny or entertaining. It's possible some of that opinion stemmed from the fact that I'd just been at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue that evening and this city boy can take but only so much country hokum.

But the Country Bear Jamboree just seemed outdated and dull. Put it in a museum of great former attractions. Hank Aaron and Mike Schmidt were great baseball players but I wouldn't pay to see them play against current major leaguers right now, know what I mean?

Vote number two for STITCH'S Great Escape.....................

My vote goes in for the Tea Cups. I hate spinning

This will probably be an unpopular oppinion, but I don't really like Hall of Presidents very much. It gets my vote.
