Does anyone know what type of park passes will be offered with the land/sea packages starting in 2005? Since they are doing away with the UMPs I was wondering how this would work. I'm looking into summer 2006 and trying to price it out as a package as well as separately. Thanks!

Since nobody seems to know, I'll hazard a guess that (if you've already paid) you'll get a 3- or 4-day MYW with the works (hopper, no expiration, and plusses). If you haven't paid yet, they would be free to change the terms.

Of course you could call DCL and ask, but what fun would that be?

Hi 4eeyore

The land portion of your package will include a Magic Your Way Premium Pass, which includes Park Hopper Option and Magic Plus Pack Option. You will not be able to add on the No Expiration Option (same thing like today's land and sea packages that it's length of stay only). With that option not available, the pass will expire 14 days from first date of usage. All guests in the same party will receive the same ticket - the Magic Your Way Premium Pass.

Webmaster some of us are novices. We will be going land/sea May 2005. My first time to Disney World. Please explain park hopper / magic plus / magic your way. Have no idea what you are talking about. I think a lot of you get carried away with all the initials and forget many of us are reading these boards to learn and have no idea what you mean. Thank you and again be a little more specific. Hope other newbies agree with me.

I emailed DCL yesterday with this exact same question. I booked in Jan 04 for our June 05 land/sea package. I added 4 add'l nights to our Disney World portion of the trip. I havent heard from them yet...but am very curious to see what they say..so does the new packages mean the freebies are gone too---I was looking forward to our new Leave a Legacy tile at EPCOT...

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Hey Tam, so far there's been no word regarding the extra amenities that were always part of packages. If something is announced, you're sure to find it on the DIS.

I just found this on the disney website. I think it answers your question about which park tickets will come with the land/sea packages.

Hope this helps

I have been wondering this as well. We are booked for a land/sea package for Oct. 2005. I am now wondering about the options and hope someone here will be able to help -

Does anyone know if the dining option will be able to be added on to the land portion?

Thanks,
Jen

I was told the same thing when I tried to add the dining to my ticket. There are also no freebies like with the UPH.
