2005-06 School Xmas break?

Our school break is Dec 24th to Jan 8th. I'm wondering how busy the parks will be that 2nd week (Jan 2nd to 8th). Do you know yet when your school break is? Thanks!

Our district goes back to school on Jan. 3rd.

My understanding is that most everyone heads home on Jan 1st. Which means the second week for you will probably be heaven.

We'll be there Dec31-Jan7. My brother in law has to go home early to start school on the 3rd as well (WV teacher)

Mine is December 20th - January 4th. We fly to WDW on the 21st Dec and arrive home on the 3rd Jan!!

Our Christmas vacation is Monday, Dec 19- Sunday, Jan 2 and we will be there from Dec 17-24. This will be our first Christmas trip and the kids are really looking forward to it. Sure that it will be busier than we are use to during spring break, but it'll be worth it to see the decorations!

S E large metro area is out of school until January 9th.

And don't forget the 6-8th weekend is Marathon weekend. Races now on two days which potentially doubles the numbers of racers to 34,000 and their families if they come............

Our last day is Dec. 16 and we return to school on Jan 2. I will fly to WDW on either the evening of Dec 16 or the morning of Dec. 17 and stay until Dec. 22.

Asheville North Carolina vacation days are Dec 22 - Jan 2. We check in on Dec 17th DD will have to miss 3 days .

Thanks, everyone, for your replies! This is great! We're actually considering staying past the 8th weekend (until about the Thurs), so the info about the marathon is MUCH appreciated!
