Welcome Stacey! Great to have you with us! We know what you went thru deciding - some of us just took less time to figure out just how worth it it will be! So keep on reading, you'll get to know many of us really well.
We drove to Lexington, KY and back this week to hear Collin's Wind Ensemble concert. Wow, really amazing music. I feel so proud watching him perform. Since there are so many drawbacks to being the mom of a percussionist, it's nice to have the advantage of actually being able to pick out his performance amid all the other instruments. Last night, Jill's choir concert. Why are they still singing choir pieces that I sang in HS in the 1970's?
gaRry, somebody ought to contact Beano and tell him they've got suites available for the cruise. And be sure to look up Collin when you get to Lexington. We didn't get a chance to get to Keeneland this time.
tinkfan, we're excited for you! Wow, how cool is that? A cat 3? I can't even afford a verandah this time! Seriously, that is really really great news for you, if you don't mind giving tours, I'd love to see it! We'll just miss you down in WDW, we get down there on 11/12, we'll be at BCVs as well. Could you pm me the details about the party of the senses?
LaGaviota, you asked how full this cruise is, and I have to question the "almost full" thing we've been hearing from some TAs. We recently switched TAs (and saved a bundle! Thanks, Gail!) and she was able to get us early seating for dinner - I don't want early seating, so I called and told her to switch us back to late. It makes me wonder how full the ship is, if early seating was still available a few weeks ago.
Gotta go, boxes to pack, y'know! Got a job interview today for a part time temp job until we leave. Should just be a formality since I worked there previously for 5 years.
Cheers, everybody!
