First back from the Chi Xmas 04 meet! Of course we live the closest! Vicki & DD and Mark & Mary are great people! Mary will be posting a pic in a few hours! We had a blast! If you've been thinking about having a meet in your area - I highly recommend it!

I agree with Karyn - if you get the chance to meet with fellow cruisers do it. We had a great time and I really feel like we've made some wonderful new friends.

We also had the pleasure of talking to gaRry on the phone. Wish he could have joined us in person.

How about the rest of you - would you be willing to share some pics? I'd love to start a photo album in the private area of the web site. Let me know!

The pictures of you all are wonderful. I can know put the words with the face. Hopefully sometime in the future we will get together with David and his family from the dishboards and anyone else who wants to join us that lives on Long Island or New York City. David's family only lives one town over from us. His wife and my husband went to the same High School. They are a few years apart. How neat is that!!! It looks like you all had a great time. gaRry - we discussed the fact that we are all technologically challenged when it comes to videos! You will have to find one of the other fine folk on the thread to make our video! Your DD offered to do the filming if you can find someone to edit it!

Hey, I'm Kabuli's DD - I had a great time @ The Meet Today (Fine Dining, Free Food, Good Company, what more can you ask for?) You can see my picture from the Chicago meet above. After meeting everyone, i figured it was just about time to get my own Account! So here i am...! I'm Looking forward to the 2004 Christmas Cruise! One thing you should know - my years of working in loud environments is taking its toll, I don't hear as well as I once did. Don't mistake my reserve in person for shyness, it's more because I don't want to make a mistaken comment.

I totally missed the conversation about videotaping - I am by no means a pro but do plan on bringing my Sony Digital8 camcorder and do have the equipment(untested, at this point, just finished it up a week ago) to do edits on the level of Beano's really well done tape. I plan on having some tapes done from tape already shot before we go, so I should have at least some experience by then, if not with the absolute creative flair of Beano but I'll do my best.
