I totally agree about fire safety - that's why we are going to look for the battery operated lights for the porthole.

We'll be making a magnetic sign for our door as well. Not sure what else - maybe bring stocking to hang.

Matt - we sure remember you! Stop on by more often. We need lots of help as Barb (jilljill) wants post #2000 before she leaves for Ireland. I'm hoping for #3000 and gaRry wants #10,000 before we leave. We can't do it without everyone helping out!

Welcome 3 princesses. We have a DAughter who will be almost 8 during the sailing. Her birthday is in March so she will be in the age group with your 5 yearold daughter. She is also on the shy side and we are hoping also that she meets a few girls before the cruise. We also have a son who will be three and a half during the cruise. We already hooked up with someone for him. Deb is such a nice lady. We have been e mailing for months. We are doing the early dining. Our DD will be 10½ at cruise time. We are one of the 'mean' families that is not telling the child about the cruise for our own sanity

I just wonder if the activities will be scaled back a little since the navigators were for "At sea" and we'll be in St. Thomas on Xmas. I would think (hope) that DCL would pretty much do the same regardless of at sea or at port.

Wonder what their holiday food was?....besides the gingerbread houses.

Good morning all! I am thinking the the Magic's itinerary will be different from the Wonder's from Christmas, if only because of the 10 day itinerary. I wish we were at sea on Christmas Day and not in port. I read on one of the threads that there was prime rib for Christmas dinner.

Anyway, welcome 3princesses, my 11 year old DD thinks she is a princess, she acts like it every day! Anyway Jamie will be 12 on the cruise. If tdklisa and 3 princesses wants to PM me, I'll give you Jamie's own email address and she can start emailing back and forth with your girls. She is also going to start emailing with Emily (I think Gail's daughter, if I remember right), but she has just been real busy. I'll try to get her on it this weekend. I don't like her spending tons of time on the computer at home, or she doesn't get anything else done.

The Disney Magic 2003 Christmas Group has started their own private board at DisneyMagic@smartgroups.com, but I am not sure how to get to it. I am still waiting for the PM from one of their group members.

Also, I found the battery operated Christmas lights at one of our specialty stores here in Salt Lake City. They are called Modern Display. They sell commercial trees, lights, decorations, fixtures, etc. I could never find them at the discount stores or the garden centers. Anyway, they work great. I have a wreath that we use them on. I am wondering if you can find them on the internet somewhere.

I also went to Ebay and started looking at stuff, I want to get 4 Disney ties (1 for DH and the other 3 for grown boys) so they have them for the cruise. There seem to be plenty out there. If anyone else knows a place to find them, please let me know.

Anyway, I guess I really need to get to work now, I have an audit in 12 days, and I'm not ready!

Crawfish and Lobster Bisque...English Pudding and Honey Mustard Chicken Tenderloins. I just gained 20 lbs looking at that menu! YUUUUUM-YUM!

The one thing I'm really looking forward to is the choir. The navigator said something about an international choir - I assume made up of castmembers on board.

I would love to see them do the Candlelight processional on board - that is such a part of the holiday season at Disney for us.
