Missed all the excitement by doing the scrapbook. I've got 9 pages done so far.

• Vero Beach
• DCL Terminal
• DIS meet/sailaway
• Dinnertime
• Character Breakfast
• Key West Lighthouse
• Stacey & Jay's Vow Renewal
• Decorations (atrium tree, gingerbread house, our tree)
• Fruit art - all those cool watermelon carvings

So I'm only on our first sea day. I'm going to need to buy lots more page protectors

Karen - I even used the "Merry Christmas" magnet you left on our door on one of the pages. Just put it through the Xyron and added adhesive to the back.

Of course my dining room table is full of papers, stickers, etc. I love scrapbooking!

Mary, do you use pictures and mementos? I was going to do a scrapbook of the cruise, and I have plenty of items for that, but I also wanted to do one for the wedding...all I have are pictures. You would think I would have been smart enough to at least save one rose! Or maybe swipe a matchbook from the bar.

Is it okay to do a scrapbook with pictures and maybe some stickers? Or would that be stupid?

Stacey - I used a little bit of everything for my scrapbooks. Home Depot paint chips, stickers, embellishments. You name it I use it.

Photos and stickers would work just fine. If you have a scrapbook store or a Michael's near you then stop in and pick up some embellishments. They have some really cute ones for weddings etc. I picked up one a while ago that I finally got to use on the Vero Beach page - it is a sand castle.

The disk that the vow renewal is recorded on is a CD-R. My computer has a space for dvd-rom, and dvd writer/cd writer combo. Wonder if I reverse the slot that I put the recorded and the blank, if it will work?


Mary....I have a few things from JoAnn...Michael's is so far away. But I may have to make a special trip for a sandcastle!!
I was looking for shells and starfish (for the renewal book) but most were sold out. I guess a lot of scrapbookers must have taken beach holidays!!

We had freezing rain today and have been iced in all day. So glad it was not a work day. Weather reports are that it will thaw tomorrow. Makes one appreciate to good old Oregon rain - the plain stuff.

I've seen Matt paint and you don't want his help. I'm still cleaning up paint from the kitchen when he painted his bedroom.

Hellooooooo this is a very crafty trick to get out of painting ever again... believe me.. I've used it. Joe no longer allows me to touch a paint brush..hee hee hee. When I want something painted I just threaten to do it myself....
