Just popping in.............

So are they really going to shut this thread down at 25,000? If so I think that a new one should be started - I know I don't post often, but I enjoying popping in and reading! Withdrawals are a very hard think to go through! Especially now that I can put faces with most of the names here!

Gary, good luck hope your tests came back ok - Just remember the Power of Positive Thinking!

Leslie and Joe - WOW a Marathon! I am impressed - Great Job! And it was so good to see you on the last day over at MGM! You guys know everyone!

We are toying with another DLC cruise - this time with family. We were looking at the 2006 Christmas Cruise - but who wants to pack on Christmas night!

This Christmas we are going to use another cruise line - we are looking into the Raddison Line - what beautiful ships and what a sale 2 for 1 cruises - which I believe someone on these boards mentioned about doing.

Well, time to get ready for work!

Stay healthy everyone!

Hi Therese
It was great to see you too! Hope your sister got a chance to visit the DVC tour and is a new member?? Say Hi to Chris for us.

Your making me want to go on this cruise now.

Cary

The more the merrier. You could learn to dive before the cruise and join the other divers. They tell me Cozemel (sp?) and Grand Cayman are great dive sites. I know your wife said she was a diver. Me - I'm going to be a "spa" person.

Ok - Next part of my "sales" pitch:

The price will include all tips, wine and liquor with dinner, all soft drinks, 2 liters of your choice of liquor in your cabin, high tea daily, no up charges for their specialty restaurants, room service with whatever is being served in the main dining rooms, etc. (I'll keep looking for more positives for you). :grouphug:

Okay...somebody refresh my memory about this cruise line.... sure sounds good to me!! However... is the average age 86??

If I change the name of this thread, do you think we can stealth our way past 25,000?

Something like "who is joining me for the 10/8/2008 cruise?" That will give us over 3 more years! ;)

GO FOR IT!!!!

Stacey, if we have it in Albuquerque, it must be somewhere in Phoenix. Or Las Vegas? Better buy a case when you find it!

Or:

And the best one:

I'll take a look. I checked a lot of places in Las Vegas last weekend...no luck.
I don't know about your daughter, but if I asked mine if she wanted to miss some school to go on a cruise she'd say "ARE YOU SERIOUS!" Says it all the time...as if I lie to her!

I'm going to think about it. Can we get a good deal?

Cary

I think it's just wrong. Here she is selling Radisson cruise on the Disney board. That's just wrong. She is out of control.

Thank you, Diana....I looked. I'm feeling better already. I just may ship a case to my Mom's house!
Speaking of which, I changed my tickets today. They are going to send her to rehab (physical, not alcohol) for a week after surgery. I'll still miss Jordan's show, but at least I'll be here for most of the running to rehearsals.....(not sure that's such a good deal for me, but it sure will help Jay). Coming back in time for Valentine's Day.
It also gives me another week to get things done at work. And paint the laundry room. The painting is tomorrow. Piglet Pink. I'm starting to like it!

No. Radisson has been voted numerous times as the best small ship cruise line. 6 Stars. I have been reading the boards, of course, and there are a lot of 30s and 40s. Just no kids. That is what we want.

Well, if you guys get 25,000 tonight, it will be without me. Good luck and I'll check back in the morning to see who signed up for Sharon's cruise.

Two questions on the Radisson ships (not to worry...can't go in November) ...

Jim, you said "no kids"...does that mean kids aren't allowed, or they just don't go often?
And I looked at the pricing...they have the one full price, then first person price, then 2nd person....and for example, with your room, it says what, I think $4000+....is that PER PERSON? That's what it looks like on their site. It doesn't explain the 2 for 1 very well. Or am I just blonde??

That's it. We can't stand the pressure anymore. We cannot be sucked into this. We are leaving town. We won't be home until Sunday late afternoon/evening. By then we'll have cooled down, this thread will probably have been closed and all of this hype will pass away!

I can't believe we are being driven out of town by fellow DIS boarders! ;)

Ok, ok, maybe we're going out of town to celebrate a late Christmas with family.....

Hey- justmestace- this is your neighbor down the alley - just popping in to see what's happening- if you're talking about Banfi Rosa Regale- I have a 375ml-just a small one -in my refrig right now. All yours if you want it- we have it at the Mountain and they send it home with us quite often.
Have to do lunch one day soon-

Now that's service, do you deliver to NM? Perfect size, too. What is the Mountain? Must be good, if they serve Banfi.

So I ordered a case off that last website. Cheaper than buying it here by a good bit. And we get to "Remember the Magic" twelve more times!

I think the Radisson pricing is as you figured, Stacey. The special price times two. The price in the left hand column is the normal price, per person. But their lowest category isn't too bad, and it looks as nice as a DCL Cat 6, maybe even a bit bigger.

Kids - they can go. They just don't go often. There is no type of program for them.

Pricing - You are not being blonde. That is the per person cost. The first column is the regular price per person, the second and third column is the pricing per person at the half price. Add them up and that equals the first column. Two people for the price of one.

I'm surprised you all did not make it to 25,000 last night. Thanks. I want to be there to see the last minute pirate: for the 25,000 post and reply.
