Ken, Got the photo CD you sent. The sunshiney pictures are beautiful. Unfortunately I have not seen the REAL sun in 6 days! Lots of wonderful pictures on that CD, some I'm sure we don't have....like your little excursion group stealing a goat!! I was very surprised that you didn't snap a picture of me in the Palo brunch line....figured for SURE you'd have that one! Love the picture of "Nothing!" Thanks for sending it. Mike is still working on ours but it's slow going with work, school and general life.

Haha...i remember you showing me the plate of "nothing." (i was the girl that told your daughter that i liked her shoes. ) that's so funny how they actually gave your son a plate of nothing. it's what sets Disney CM's apart from people who work on other ships and amusement parks. They actually care.

Sigh...Beast update. Too many days of rain and being cooped up has caused her to go nuts. I think we need to move to FL for the dog's sanity! I've taken her out daily to run her, but for her she needs more....

So, today I take her out...it's 37, feels like 31. It's raining. There is mud everywhere and there are three very large lakes in our yard. She is a manaic. I get her bumper, throw it. She brings it back, rams into me...bruise #1. I throw the bumper, she retrieves it, runs into me. Bruise #2. I'm afraid to side step her as I'll slip and it'll be mud-ville for me. When I take the bumper from her she jumps up to get it....nevermind, it's already mud-ville for me. Finally, she bores with bumper play so I go in. I call her. She ignores me. She heads for the water. She is a water dog after all. The rain gets heavier. She ignores me for 15 minutes and plays in the water. She's cute, but soaked. Finally NICK calls her...she comes running GRRRRRR She is now drying in her crate.

At least if I lived in Florida an alligator might have come out of the lake in my yard and taken care of my Beast problem!

Hi everyone.

Happy New year to everyone.

I am writing to you live from the Magic. It is so nice to be sailing on the Magic. We were on the Wonder back in 8/2003 for 4 nights. The ship still has all the holiday decorations up. It is nice to see what you all enjoyed. It is so beautiful. It was 80 today.They are going to have the pirate night and fireworks on this cruise. They also added high tea to this cruise. We are signed up for brunch and dinner at Palo's. The weather has been so beautiful since we got to Orlando on 12/29. We had a DIS meet and it was very nice. I met Andy(Verandah Man) and his DW and a few others. I actually got to see a cat 2 and 3. They are SO nice. We are in cabin 8024 not to fall from the Walt Suite-actually 3 cabin's away. I am SO glad we took a cat 4 with the children. The ship is full. Lots of children. the children loved the children's clubs. DH and the children are fast asleep and I am to excitied to sleep. There are a lot of children on this sailing. There are a lot of schools that do not go back from break until next week. Shirley from the Perfect Gift is wonderful. I had her put together a surprise for my children and they loved it.

Diana-it was so nice to meet you and your family. DS is in LOVE with your DD. He wants her to come to his Spider Man Birthday Party. I keep telling him that she lives far away and he can send her a picture of the party. She is Awesome. Alicia is going to be a great mother someday. We had such a nice time. DH is still talking about moving to Florida.

Mary-thanks for the hug. Your a sweetie!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stacey-I sent you an e mail last week. I hope you got it. I can not get into my e mails to check my mail.

We are going to book another cruise while on board. I would Love to book the 5/27 with you all-I am just concerned that would be the time DD would be taking all those state tests and I would have to cancel if that was the case. I can not find out about the testing until next year when they would be.

There is a thread that Andy (Verandah Man posted) about our sailing if you all want to check it out.

GarRy-I hope you are feeling better.

Off to read the boards and try to figure out how to read my e mails.

Doing the survey now...some things I think are interesting:

Looks like DCL is feeling out passengers to see if they'd like a formal night on a 4 day cruise.
Do you want to change to local time or keep ship time?
How many people were included in your immediate sailing party (ie. people you prearranged to sail with? ARE THEY SERIOUS? ...uh...150

Karen - we didn't steal the goat. It was the drivers brand new kid and he had to stop to make sure it was OK. He was unhappy that it turned out to be a male. I think we should post the picture of you and Linda on the pirate excursion on the web - what do you think?

No, I knew you didn't steal the goat. It was just funny the sequence...see the goat, get out of the van, untie the goat Hey, you tease me about my Palo brunch intake...I gotta find SOMETHING to tease you about!

Sure, post our picture on the web. Can't say it's flattering, but then I'm not photogenic, so none are! At least that one shows my personality!

Just finished mine. Guess we're all "small, but significant". I did have some nitpicky things, but I don't think either survey asked about those areas. Still trying to decide if our Oct. 2002 cruise has improved with age in my memory, if it was because it was our very first cruise, or if it really WAS that much better in some areas (except for our cruise companions, of course). We're certainly willing to cruise DCL again to find out. It was still an "excellent" cruise, that's for sure!

Going thru the Zillion pictures we took. Tried to upload some to an online site but since I have dialup .... it took over 18 min to do 3 pics!! Forget that! One of these days we will come into the 21st century and get broadband.

We are going to Alaska. I told Jeanne if she came home healthy she could pick our next cruise. She said she would like to go back to Alaska. My Dad and Mom took their motorhome thru Western Canada to Alaska and then a ferry thru the inside passage. She wants to 'see' it from a cruise ship this time. So, Radiance of the Seas will be our home for a week in June. I am hoping my niece can come with us, she will graduate from hs in late May '05.

Attn Blood Doners:


Something I found out today. I've been a regular blood doner for years but know that sometimes where you travel will make you ineligible. Got a call today from Lifesource asking if I could come in and give blood. So of course I tell them about the bug bite and being on antibitoics. Well they come back and say "see you in a year". It had nothing to do with the bite, nothing to do with the antibiotics. Simply be being in St. Lucia I got a one year pass. So if you normally give blood you may want to check before signing up again.
