And the H/PC is packed, along with its network card, and associated cables so I can connect either by dialup or network. Vero doesn't have inroom internet. Only a lame machine that is some rediculous price per the half hour. And I don't know how it'll work with the high speed at Beach Club after either, will find out the hard way, I guess. :)

We only have one computer at the house.

Any suggestions on how Sharon and I can chat to each other on the board tomorrow night to keep the thread going? After all we will be by ourselves, Oh that's right....She has a gymnastics meeting so I will be chating with myself.

Never forget, nothing comes before gymnastics.

You could send her to the office.....

Matt's job tonight is to start finding the LDS to use at Crystal River for the post cruise DIS dive. There are several so he is trying to find one that is available and has diving. Many are just snorkling.
This reminds me; Picked up Alicia from school, we're going home and talking about the manatee dive after the cruise. It dawned on me that I had packed the regulators with our drysuit hoses still attached.

Don't need those!!!

Got them off now.

That's why mine are in a notepad document for me to cut and paste from, only way I can keep track of how many I got. :p

That is what I did last night. Left my on in case I was diving with GaRy this morning.

I remember somone posting on Scuba Board not to long ago when someone asked about leaving the dry suit hose on. ABQDiver had some pretty strong opinions. Glad you took off your hoses. I really would have harrased you.

Believe it or not, I just got home. So much for my little bit of quiet time I was hoping for this afternoon.

Nothing much left to do.....I think we are all set.

We have eight checked bags, and one carry-on for each. Actually, the carry ons are: a large tote bag for me, the underwater camera for Jay, a tote for Jordan, and Jared's backpack. Oops, and a little wheelie carry on with the other camera and miscellaneous junk.
I know that two of the checked bags will be empty by Day 3.....so it's really not as bad as it seems. Honest.

Guess I'll finish those last couple of things. Oops, I forgot, we have a garment bag to carry on too. Good grief.

Jay is still at the shop. He may stay all night. He should be better prepared, like I am.:duck:

I think I am a little scared of the "surprizzze" gaRry has for me........:confused3 :scared:

Back in a bit!

You gotta remember the golden rule: Do not as I do, do as I say!!

Actually I think it just looks stupid. Plus even if you coil it up it can come undone as is a bit "messy". Rule number six "Always look good"

What kind of housing did you get for the camera?

From what I seen and heard about gaRry, I would be VERY afraid!!!!!! :upsidedow

REALLY wish we were down there for an extra day. To have an opportunity to visit Manatees. Too cool.

By the way, I'm just bopping around collecting my personal favorite links into notepad so I cna print them out to bring with. Not like I can just click and they'll be there.

Must be the day for that! I had a great pedicure today :D Pretty chilly wearing those little flip flops to my car, scraping the snow off the windshield, and driving home with the heat on full blast towards my feet

Boy, it will be nice to be in Florida tomorrow. DS wants to take his shorts on the plane to change into during the flight. I told him he could wait until we got to our hotel room!

Better go back to packing my carry-on.

Teresa

I have a confession to make. I had the first pedicure of my life today, and I didn't know to take flip flops. So I walked to my car, and drove home barefoot! Good thing it wasn't snowing.

Umm, this is Mom, not Tinkdancer. She doesn't actually drive yet. But she knows how to use my computer!

OMG! Tinkdancer I didn't know you had your drivers license!!

Didn't your mother teach you not to walk around in parking lots without shoes?????

okay, I think we are totally packed except for what we need in the morning.

we have..........8 checked bags ( 2 of those are garmet bags)
1 rolling carryon
2 carryon totes ( for the kids electronics)
1 laptop

I also know that 2 of these will basically be empty after a few days.

I almost forgot my underwater housing for my digital camera. Good thing I double checked my list.
If we forget anything else we don't need it or will buy it!!

Those of you leaving early in the morning have a safe trip!

Ken- look for us at the Embassy suites happy hour. I will be in a gray and pink sweat suit.

Diana- see you at breakfast!

Will try to post before we head out tomorrow, if not see ya Saturday!
