Thanks for sharing your top.

I prefer not talking about your equipment on the board, unless we are talking about scuba equipment.

Wait!!! You mean you weren't???????

Mary, I didn't remember you doing the shipwreck cove tour. I'm not sure if we're in the afternoon or morning. I know in Antigua, we're both doing afternoon tours.

SCRAPBOOKING ALERT!!

Okay, I know pages ago there was a few of you talking about scrapbooking. I actually sell scrapbook stuff on the side (from my normal job). I went through all my scrapbook freebies and stuff the company gives me last night and I have a bunch of things I'd be more than happy to bring and give to my Dis friends who scrapbook.

Just let me know if you are interested so I can put enough in my suitcase (oops, one more suitcase from basement coming up) and bring to give away.

Actually we live right in downtown Boston - across from Fanuiel Hall - and it is not that bad here. For some reason we always get warmer weather, some say it is the water.

back to catching up on the posts!
Therese, I just finished reading a medical thriller that was set in Boston. The main character had a debate in Fanuiel Hall. Book title is "The Society". Pretty good, but heavy anti-HMO.

What kind of stuff do you sell??? We are trying to be scrapbookers --- DD14, DD12 and myself --- it's a little hard to find the time but we're working at it.

Lisa,
I hope your kids are feeling better today. Mine are back at school. Not sure they feel 100% but mean mommy made them go anyway. They never ran a fever or did any throwing up!

Tina, glad they're feeling better. DS went to school this morning, but DD was just feeling too badly. She seems to be perking up now. She has a big math test at 2, so I might try to get her in there for it. Either way, she'll probably be okay for the concert. I looked at the note from the chorus teacher, and it's 1/3 of her grade. Hey, this kid needs every A she can get!

Glad to hear you're not panicked anymore. You're right, we'll be on the best ship afloat, with the best people around. What's to worry about?

An exasperated mother, whose son was always getting into mischief,
finally asked him "How do you expect to get into Heaven?" The boy
thought it over and said, "Well, I'll run in and out and in and out and
keep slamming the door until St. Peter says, 'For Heaven's sake, Dylan,
come in or stay out!'"

Linda - I'd love it if you have some to share! I love doing scrapbooks of our trips and the little extras always make it worth while. Which company do you sell for? It would be great to have another resource even though I have two great scrapbooking stores nearby. Thanks!

OK - it's going to edit this one too.... But if you figured out the blank in my previous post - you can figure this one out too....

A little boy was doing his math homework. He said to himself, "Two
plus five, that son of a ***** is seven."
"Three plus six, that son of a ***** is nine...." His mother heard
what he was saying and gasped, "What are you doing?" The little boy
answered, "I'm doing my math homework, Mom." "And this is how your
teacher taught you to do it?" the mother asked. "Yes," he answered.
Infuriated, the mother asked the teacher the next day, "What are you
teaching my son in math?" The teacher replied, "Right now, we are
learning addition." The mother asked, "And are you teaching them to say
two plus two, that son of a ***** is four?"
After the teacher stopped laughing, she answered, "What I taught them
was, two plus two, THE SUM OF WHICH, is four."

I remember DS doing something like this. When he was still in pre-school, his teacher pulled me aside. She was trying really hard not to laugh, but she finally got out the story. Apparently DS was playing one of those memory matching games where you have to turn over the cards to get a match. Every time he messed up, he'd say in a really exasperated voice "dxxx it". So we had to explain to him that that wasn't appropriate!

My mom occasionally reminds me of the time I went up to my very straight laced grandmother and told her "Kiss me Grandma, I've got SEX APPEAL cause I use Ultrabright".

In and out of here today....out again....Just wanted to reply that I had my kids sign their own Immigration form...they have for the last couple of years. They get a kick out of it. They are 11 and 14.

Virgil & Jenny - thanks for the laughs this morning!

I also bought a new digital camera. It's the coopix 5200 (I think it's by Nikon). So far, it's pretty easy to use. But I haven't tried anything fancy with it. I think I might have to read the manual on the flight down!

I use to live near there too. I lived at One Devonshire Place just next to Old State House if I recall correctly. I loved living and working there, had a great time.

Same here Stacey.....I just tore the office apart.
I can't find the manual.

Gus
Gus - if you check the manufacturer's online site they usually have the manuals available in a pdf format that you can then print out.

So if the afternoon people do their job we could go for 22,000 tonight :Pinkbounc

That is SOOOO sweet. DD (10) is the one who wants to start this. She always looks longingly at the cute little sticker sets (the ones that come in those transparent little bags) I haven't a clue where to start. I was going to take Mary's advice and sign her up for a class at Archiver's once the cruise is over.

You are SOOOOOO generous!!! Thanks!!
