I would like to meet her and you. I lived in Seoul (not military related) and have very special memories of the people and the country. I think I gave away my language books years ago but will hunt around as I look for our luggage.

Also for the rest of the Scuba family. I also lived on Water Island (just off St. Thomas) for awhile. :earseek: I worked in a Scuba shop taking Cruise tourist out on dives and of course selling TShirts. Ahhh that was the life. :flower1:

That sounds like fun.

Hope you are able to join us for diving. Tinksdad is our diving tour guide so he can give you all the info. He does a great job, for a pirate.

Part of the West coast is awake.

GOOD MORNING!!

TWO WEEKS!!! Panic may be setting in!!!

Been up since 6:00...waiting for DH to leave, paying bills, tossed some clothes in the wash.
Jared's game is at 10:00, so I can't stick around. Have to hit the showers.......
Almost looks like rain this a.m. Too bad it isn't raining...then it would be no game, and I could be here for 20,000.
Almost as soon as Jared and I get back, Jay & I have to leave for his party. As much as I jabber on here, I'm not looking forward to a party with a bunch of people I've never met. YES...I actually do get quiet in those situations. Maybe I should send LISA!
I just now wondered if any of our spouses who haven't been on the boards feel the same way about meeting all of us???

Here's a question that's probably been asked & answered a million times:

Can we use our Disney Reward Card for purchases on the ship?

If I wasn't so lazy, I'd look in my Reward booklet.
But that's what WE'RE here for, right??

Cool! Are you diving this trip at all? There is a group of six DIS members plus a few other DCL divers that will be diving as much as possible at the stops.
I'm especially looking forward to diving St. Lucia. Haven't dove there yet and have heard good things about it.

I sort of stopped diving when I fell in love with my DH. He really didnt like any sport related water which is the total opposite of me and really strange for a Viking. I have slowly been bringing him along so that he loves cruising now (my dream is to get him on a sail boat charter) and is getting more comfortable with snorkeling. Doesnt hurt that his first snorkel was in the Maldives. :D

Hmmm, may have to check around for refresher course.... :jumping4:

I tell you life is good :cool1:

I'm back after my morning nap. Heading to Orlando for the day.

Two pieces of sad news this morning.

First, I had to turn on the furnance. I hope it warms up before you all start heading down. It is going to be in the 50's tonight. Yes, regardless of what you all think, that's COLD.

Second, Disney just increased their one day ticket price by 9%. It's up to $59.

I remember a couple of years ago, we were in Orlando for the New Years. It was !!!COLD!!! We brought jackets, but had to buy more. Stocking caps and Mickey gloves to battle off the chill. It was in the upper 30° to low 40°, and the same storm actually dumped snow in the Carolinas for the first time in lots of years. Brrrrr!!
Come on Caribbean Tiki gods, bring us nice weather!!

It was a blast. If you ever get the chance to go to the BVI and dive the Roan, do it. A very cool wreck. Too bad my log book was stolen (with my passport) about 8 years ago (at Heathrow). I had some great dives and snorkel experiences in the area. I recall feeding a baby octopus once near Buck Island. :D Some really funny night dives under a full moon.... :earboy2:

Pretty soon, other DISer's will be looking at US getting on the ship!

I'm outta here...have a great day!

Oops, didnt know we could request a seating rotation.....We are second, most nights DD skips us after the show to see her friends in the club.

Woohoo second TOP tonight. Thanks Stacey!

Jeri - there are several of us in late seating that are trying to sit in the same area(early seating is doing this also). Since we are working with the dinning room manager we have also requested a dinning rotation although she won't guarantee it for us. If you would like to join our groups at late seating just PM me with your information. I will need the name the reservation is under and your reservation number. Just let me know. Debbie at DCL will probably kill me(she has lots of groups trying to sit together) but I can try to add you if you want to join us.

I would love to dive the Rhone (http://www.sawyerdive.vi/rhone.htm). The only problem for a cruise dive, and limited time it's to far out to make it work. Maybe one day we (Jim, you in?) will go to the islands and do that, plus hit Saba. Heard really great things about Saba!!

Guess I need to log off for a bit. I got a 5 year old sitting in my lapping singing Christmas songs and asking to go pack for our trip. Back later :Pinkbounc She really looks like this pink bouncing ball.

She asked me to write ...see you later

Hey, if you guys aren't at the extreme front of the line I'm going to be sorely disappointed!! One way or the other it will be mentioned over and over throughout DIS history ....

one of two ways...

either "yup, it's true the Scuba's were first in line, just as they said they'd be"

or "it's so sad the Scuba's weren't first in line like they wanted to be"

You can choose your own destiny! :)

Are the Scuba's saving a place for everyone at the front of the line? :D Could you imagine the people behind them if they start letting people into the line. "This is part of my group joinning me in line." Next thing you know they have let 50-60 people in line.

OK - Think I figured it out.....

That would be the day, the first Riot would happen at the Disney Cruise Line!

It does have some interesting potential, doesn't?

I thought it would be funny. ;) I would like to see the expressions on the faces of the people behind them in line.

I have a question - I can't tell you how many times I have filled out these forms but I can never remember. On the Bahamas immigration form how many nights do you list at staying and what day do you say as arriving? I know we just go to CC but the ship is registered in the Bahamas so I always get confused. Thanks for the help.
