Two weeks from today I will be telling DH he better pack because even though I have been telling him for a month to lay his stuff out he hasn't done it yet.

If I left it up to Jay to pack, he'd be naked all the time. How does that work???

When I picked Jordan up at dance last night, it was already only 34 degrees out there. Good thing Jay and Jared covered my roses and the citrus trees. Jay said it was colder here last night than when he was in the mountains and it was snowing. The desert cold is really different. We had no cloud cover last night to keep any heat in. Our normal daytime temp for yesterday was 70.....it only got up to 59. Brrrr. (For us, anyway)

Looking forward to the warm Caribbean!!

Good Morning Cruisers!

Well, I think what I thought was a bad meal is more the flu. Have been up most of the night, and am quite punchy about now and still not feeling well. As Angela said back there, better now and get it out of the way. And to compound that sleepless night, discover when going downstairs to the rec room that the 10+ year old fish we've had has passed. He was an algae eater we bought not long after setting up the tank and he was the last fish in there as I want to move the tank to someplace else in the house but knew the stress would have killed him. In a way the timing is good, one less thing for my parents to do while we're gone. Here's a pic of him in better days.

Thanks Stacey, I think we are safe to go now just still hoping for more.

It was warmer here than way down where you are. It was 40F this morning here. No snow or any sign of it yet. My kids want snow on the ground for xmas just so they can say they missed it.

Sorry about the fishy. What's the name of that fish? Had friends who had a tank, and one of those, but I can't remember what type it is.

Phil....sounds like something my kids would think of!! Just so they could rub it in....We did have frost this a.m. and sometimes we do get snow. It's not always that dry, hot desert everyone imagines. But it is better than Nebraska! (That's where I grew up)

I was watching the Today show on NBC - and who was on it, but Jimmy Buffett... singing "Christmas in the Caribbean" Somehow I think that will most definitely be our theme song and appear as background music at the wine party.....

Just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that I just cancelled our Caribbean Pirates Extravaganza for 9:00 a.m. in St Lucia. I know it was sold out for that time. There are 5 of us that I cancelled for. So if anyone wants that time---call now!

Phil, I can sympathize with your wife. That's why we like Deck 5 aft, it's really quiet back there. All we heard last cruise was some kid that couldn't remember which cabin his buddy was in. He would walk down the hall occasionally, calling out the buddy's name.

Thoughts and prayers with the Gose family today. Garry, let us know when she's out of surgery, please.

DD was hoping for a snow day today. But after the very fast blizzard yesterday morning, there was no more snow. Streets are perfectly dry now. Typical for here.

While I was on the line with DCL I asked about our documents and she said that they were just sent out yesterday to All Seasons and that they would get there within three days. Then I have to wait for All Seasons to send them to me. Looks like next week.

I also asked if they were having a Catholic mass for Christmas instead of a "general" service and she said yes (for those of you that are interested).
