Boy have we been quiet this afternoon. I bopped off to do a few things, thinking "I'll check back in later this afternoon, and maybe I can grab 17000". It was 16909 then. When I sign in 3 hours later, it's 16919. Hmmm. Where's everyone at?

We will be there. Jim loves the rainforest - especially the heated loungers. It's a great place to relax, sip tea and read a book.

We will be there everyday too. It is our favorite place on the ship.

Hi just back after running errands. Saw David's post. Called Debbie at DCL since I had just spoke to someone yesterday ahd been told something completely different and she said things were changed in the last 18 hours. As of now David's info is correct. The only thing is I thought the Captains Gala was the more formal night??
Wonder if it will change again?

THE CHRISTMAS GIFT 2004....PART III

So, then each kid gets their envelope and opens it up and figures out they have to unscramble the letters and make a word. Slowly, it all comes together, but you can feel the anticipation growing with every moment.

Luckily, the last envelope to be opened was Christmas Day, which had the Christmas Tree in it with our port.

But, the kids were thinking, what does this have to do with the cruise we took (Nov. 2002) on the Disney Wonder?

Well, I then had double sided tape and they figured out who had the earliest date (17) and started putting them up one by one on the wall.

When they finished, I told them here was their gift and handed them the envelopes with Mary's wonderful itinerary off her website and I had inserted their names into each and their staterooms.

When they figured it all out, it only took them two seconds to realize that 2004 was their "mother's" Christmas. Well, then it only took another mere 2 seconds for them to talk about it and come to the conclusion that their father had never had Christmas with them since the divorce and "who made that rule anyway".

I told them that we (DH, me and DD) were going on the cruise and they could join us (their 2003 and 2004 Christmas present), or if they felt they needed to stay home and go to Christmas at their mother's we would understand. Well, they knew immediately what they were doing and..................

Well......................IT DOESN'T TAKE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO FIGURE OUT THEIR DECISION!!!!!!!!!

Of course, 11 1/2 months later, and tens of thousands of dollars out of my pocket (I guess the DH too)---Robert (DH) finally gets to spend Christmas with his kids!!!

Okay, that's the story. I even get all choked up now writing about it.

Do I have to get to 17,000 all on my own?

I think I can............I think I can............I think I can

(Stacey really must be working today!!!!)

PAGE 1088.............................

That's for people like me who have procrastinated and not reported in to the "headmistress" for the mini-navigators, buttons, and tag-you're it!

I had to go back and find the lists because I knew we had a stateroom change on one of the kids!

Mary---now you can call me GLINDA!!!!!

Linda that is a great story!! You are very creative. They are very lucky to have you in their lives...

PAGE 1088.............................

How in the world can you find page 1088. It looks like it would take 30 minutes of backscrolling. I tried to do it and found myself in the message board of AUGUST REPOSITIONING CRUISE. How did that happen?!

You guys are too advanced for me...

Is there an onboard meet planned for Dec 18 ?

Just so you do realize Patty I GAVE you that TOP. What else can the new person do?

Thanks Virgil for helping me out. I got it. I also saw where there is a plan for an AM walking group... that's great. I hope it is all in the mini Nav...? Another idea I had is a book list. You can get through a lot of books in 10 days! If anyone is interested, email me the titles of any reading material (appropriate...) that you are planning on bringing and I can make a list and we can have a lending library.

I have heard that the book Sellavision is hysterical and I am going to bring it. It is a fictional spoof on QVC. Also, I may pick up David Sedaris's new book.
We will likely have a bunch of kid books with us, too...

I always bring a book for the airplane ride, but the last two cruises haven't had time to read them. I like to be busy, and there is so much fun stuff to do on the Magic that reading may be the last thing I have time to do.......
