I have seen a thread with the current movies but I don't know how to link to it. There is also a telephone number to call for the movies, I don't know that either. I guess I am not real helpful, but I am fun;)

I want my docs! NOW!

It will be an interesting weekend at the Ferrara household. There are so many people testing at our TKD school this month the test had to be split. So I'm testing tonight. Keith is testing tomorrow night. In between (Sat. Morning), we have the school's annual sparring tournament, which Keith and I will participate in, for the first time. It's single elimination...

Anyhow, Sunday night we have tickets to see Yanni in concert. That I can't wait for!

If I blank out on my form tonight I quit!

Lisa (TKD Lisa, not Stacey's evil twin) -- where are you when I need you??? Or scuba Jim / Matt...who else here is doing TKD? I forget.

:worried:

Sorry, Dee. Let's see, at that time, I think we were just finishing our lovely dinner at the local oriental buffet. I'm sure everything went great, and if it didn't at least you got to see Yanni.

:) Lisa

:flower1: Good Morning Cruisers! :flower1:

Happy Monday Everyone!

Dee - congrats to your son and thanks for sharing his picture.

Sarah - welcome to this crazy group. I'll send you a link and password to our newsletters. That may help you catch up faster.

I heard from Leslie aka DisneyPinDiva last night. They are still coming but have been through a lot lately with one of their "babies" Jessie. Those of you who remember the pic of the 4 dogs in her sig line - Jessie is on the far right. She's got a rare form of cancer in her snout and they have been through surgeries and radiation treatments. Leslie hopes to drop by soon to say hi but in the mean time please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Keith got 2nd place for his size / rank in Saturday's sparring tournomant. I didn't place, but I had fun!

Keith also did GREAT on his test, so once again he outranks me... :(

Bad mommy...

Good Mommy for having the guts to train with her son! I have so much respect for adults training along side their children. I'm a mom who sits and sews or reads in the waiting room

Thanks for the well wishes for my young black belts. Tell Keith congrats for his 2nd place in the tournament. I've seen a few sparring tournaments and they are pretty intense.

We are also very new to the forum. We just booked our cruise a week ago and jumped on the forum then! Our expereince here has been that everyone is super friendly and helpful too!

Welcome from the Cam Fam Luvs Dsny!

Well done Dee!! What is your rank now? Good luck to the family members who have yet to test. WAsn't someone today? I'm here sewing patches (well not RIGHT now) on my DSs new Jr. Black Belt uniform....

Have a nice weekend all!
T

Oh the joy of sewing patches! Now that no one is in TKD anymore, at least there's one set less to do. Our school had: school patch, American and Korean flag, four colors of stars with corresponding animal patches for 5 of a particular color. You got: yellow stars (tiger patch for 5 of them) for all As on either your report card or your test; blue stars (eagle patch for 5) for recruiting others; red stars (dragon for 5) for gold medal in tournament, or demonstration event; and green stars (cobra patch for 5) for Master assigned homework. This was usually something like writing an essay about one of the ten rules of Tae Kwon Do, or tracking your family jobs for a month. The gold and green stars were primarily for kids. They got trophies at the end of the year if they had earned 3 animal patches, etc. Hey, how about a trophy for the mom who had to sew all those things on?

And then we had (and still have) the miscellaneous scout patches, badges, awards, etc. Now that both of them are in the senior rank of their scouts, they get fewer of them because they are much harder to earn!

Teresa, enjoy those sore fingers!

LeiLani - Can you accept a Microsoft Excel file? If so I'll send you a file this Friday.

My plan is to have the mini-navigator finished this week so that I can get them printed off, folded, and put in envelopes.

Linda - I love your door signs. Especially the naughty and nice. Our family might not have as much Christmas cheer. We've told the boys that their Chrismas present is the cruise. They are almost 14. Is everyone packing a gift or two for their older children? I probably will tuck in a new game boy game for each boy.

Happy Monday!

Here is our door sign. It looks a lot less "fuzzy" in personl

Please Read!

Saw this on the DVC forum. I assume it will be on all forums.

Announcement from the Webmasters -- Board Conversion.
The board conversion is scheduled for next weekend. Expect the boards to go down friday evening and be down for a period of 24-48 hours. All private message storage will be cut back to 7 days so please save whatever you want to keep soon.
The new boards will have some great features and will be well worth the temporary pain of the downtime.

This just goes to enforce our deadlines on the buttons, navigator and tag. I will do one final listing of them on Wednesday (I'm off work) and the final deadline is this Friday morning at 10am. Anything after that deadline will not make it. Sorry! Actually I think we are in really good shape we have over 120 buttons in production right now and have 41 listings in the mini-nav with 36 rooms playing tag.

Good Monday Morning Everyone!!!

Welcome Aboard Sarah. Just jump right in. We have a great group of people here and if you have any questions ask away. We also have several teens on the cruise and they have started a teen thread on the cruise meets board so incourage your teens to join in. Here is the link:

Looking at the specs on that washer.....

Plus, the Duet® Fabric Care System offers incredible capacity and cleaning power, washing up to 16 pairs of jeans in a single load.

SIXTEEN? I remember seeing that, but that seems excessive! I've never done THAT many at a time!

Catalyst® Cleaning Action with Direct Inject

This sounds made up!

Add-A-Garment Feature

I'll admit, this is really nice for when you find that one extra pair of socks or a stray towel and you want to add it.

Bulky Items Cycle

Isn't this the same as saying "16 pairs of jeans?"

On/Off Extra Rinse Option

I always said my next washer MUST have this....I always double rinse whites and towels.

1,200 RPM Maximum Spin Speed

There's that spin that HH was talking about.

Child Lockout

This goes over better than the "Child Lock IN" feature.

You guys have GOT to stop talking about these!!!! I had them on our list for the new house, then took them off because of the $$$$. Now you're telling me that I really need to switch back to them. Oh well, we haven't gotten our appliance quote yet.

And an unexpected T.O.P.!!!! :Pinkbounc

That just makes my Monday. It's going to be a good day now.

Yes - we've told Lauren that we might try to go on with you - since our ressies are "linked"..... (she doesn't know we got our Cat. 3) Of course - she already knew about the Gold KTTW cards.... DW didn't know that... Lauren is pretty observant..... hopefully we can distract her.... Don't want her to know she doesn't have to sleep with her sister until we get on board..... She says she'll sleep on the "deck" :teeth:

Hi Virgil.....what are gold KTTW cards?

Happy Monday Morning Cruisers!

Another rainy , drizzling day here. I think the sun peeked out for about an hour yesterday, but of course I was in a gym and didn't see it. The volleyball tournament went well. They got through the first round , but lost in the 2nd. I was actually kinda glad. It was almost 3 when we got done. We would have been there till 5 or 6 had they continued. It was a good experience.
We are now done with volleyball tournaments until Jan.

Today I am taking Sam's truck in to have the spray on bedliner done. Taking along my new Disney magazine to read. I am also going to try to call Debbie at DCL and book Palos and spa.

Sat while at the mall I also got Jason measured for his tux, so I may see about ordering that today also. Are any other boys going to be wearing them?? Stacey, I thought you said Jared was?

I will be keeping a lookout for the UPS truck too!!

Hope eveyone has a great day!
