Someone mentioned a few days ago they were going to check the formal dress fit since it is later in the cruise. I got so scared I went to Kohl's today and picked up another pair of pants just in case. I am so afraid the only exercise I will get is lifting my fork
I hope to walk the deck, not plank, twice daily. And not just to meals. :earseek:

Sue, on our last DCL cruise I started out great, walked a mile around Deck 4 the first day at sea. I missed the Walk-a-mile group, so did it by myself. That was the only day! But if anyone wants to meet to walk in the mornings, I'm game. DH usually hits the gym early in the day. I'd rather walk and enjoy the view.

But I'm waiting for the da.......... "administrator" to let me post to see if I can get my final pirate: post in and steal a top before I head out the door!!!!

FINAL POST FOR THE DAY FROM WORK AND A TOP TOO!!!!!! LATER MATEYS!!!!!

Sounds great, just a little motivation and company. What I try and do is start on deck 4 and do 2 circuits, then steps to deck nine (just once around so I stay away from Topsiders) and up to deck 10. then reverse, takes about 30 minutes, the view slows me down ;)
What is early?

My DW is a walker. I bet you could talk her into walking in the mornings.

I think I'm getting dizzy reading all the early/late dinning posts. I'm impressed that you all can keep it straight.

Thanks Dee, it was me. I have a call into my TA right now. She said she spoke to the DCL rep, the rep's Supervisor, and someone above the supervisor and was told she couldn't pre-book the brunch or the tea. Just goes to show you that sometimes a second call is the way to go... I'll let you all know what I hear back...

We are staying at BWV Dec 13-17, the Renaissance at the airport on the 18th, then getting a towncar out to the port in the early a.m. to try and pirate: being first in line to board! princess: pirate:

Cheers! Kara

Okay, update. :( DCL told my TA that only people in Cat 1-3 cabins and those booking for groups can pre book the brunch. Since I saw that Dee is on Deck 2, I mentioned that to my TA. She said she talked to a Supervisor and to the dining coordinator. They both vehimently deny that they allow the brunch to be prebooked, even if you have a REAS. Oh well...even though I don't understand their consistency  , I will turn this to my advantage somehow.pirate: a second dinner in Palo for my troubles???

Cheers, Kara

I have found that DCL can be very inconsistent. It all comes down to who you talk to and when you talk to them.

FYI - Sacramento is cold and foggy. I wish I was back home.

ok, just got off the phone with DCL, Angie you are early and sitting with us. Whew, I have just one task and had trouble getting it straight. ::yes::

The trouble was not your fault. I'm a happy camper now.:hyper:

I'd be interested in walking too. I like the "deck 4, steps, deck 9, steps, deck 10" plan. More interesting than going in circles on deck 4!!

Anybody watch Amazing Race last night?

I just love that show!

We watched the first part. Recorded the second part and will watch it over the weekend.

DW & DD really watch this one. Now I am start to. Enjoy seeing all the port of calls. There might be some trip ideas in that show.

We are in, if we can fit it into the schedule. It's starting to get a little full. I don't think we will have enough time to get it all in within the 10 days.

At dinner tonight we talked about Bear and have some questions for him. Is he going to be on the board tonight to answer some questions?
