I can't believe that we're almost at 15,000.... I figured we'd be lucky to make it by Dec. 1. I think I figured it was 28 posts a day when we hit 14,000....

That's a good movie. I'm kind of partial to the Vietnam era movies since that's when I was in. Never made it there but was in Thailand at the end of the war and we supported the evacuation of South Vietnam from our Air Base there. That's my Veterans day story.

Definitely.... Dad was in the Army Air Corps.....

and DS Jason is in the AirForce..... He's in Africa at the moment... considering what's happening on that continent...(Ivory Coast)... and what could happen....(Israel)... He'll definitely be in my thoughts and prayers!

Happy Veterans Day!

A great big thank you to all the vets who have served this country over the years.

Virgil - tell your son we thank him and those serving now as well. They are definately in our thoughts and prayers!

Looks like 15,000 could definately come today. So what is the plan?

gaRry will you be home today or near a computer?

I think we should stop posting with 20 or 25 to go and make sure that gaRry is around. When we get that close please someone post that we are halting until gaRry gets on.

Then please take turns and post slowly so we can keep track.

With the fever pitch we've been posting it would be easy to blow by 15,000!

How does all that sound?

I'm thinking this is going to happen today more than tonight. Wish I could see it and be part of it.
