And that makes me one of the odd ones.....I have not paid in full and I've gone directly through DCL. Hmmmmm

We also were able to book shore excursions BEFORE paying in full.

Gus

By the way I hope my TA returns my call soon........everytime I call I get an answering machine.
I want to pay for the trip. They must be very busy.

Good Morning everyone... Just thought I'd pop in and say "hi"... We had a "turkey" weekend at our house for Thanksgiving... We had company from out of town, and did the big turkey dinner at our house on Sunday. Last night -- leftovers.. MMMMM As much as I love a turkey dinner, I don't love the clean up that's involved afterward so I have to say that I will be thoroughly enjoying being served my next turkey dinner on the Magic on Christmas Day...

Have a Disney Day....
Ann

Ann.......That will be my choice on the 25th.

That is for sure. I always go for seconds.

Will they bring me another plateful?

What about lobster if they serve that one night......"please sir, can I have MORE"

Gus

PS .....where is the gym and the running track?

Mary Ann - I meant to tell you that my DD also loves the club. As a matter of fact it is hard to get her out of there. She usually likes to take a swim sometime during the day but otherwise she is in the club. Did you say that you and DD are on the 9am pirate excursion in St Lucia. The girls and I are also doing that excursion.

Gus - We like late seating because we felt rushed when we had early seating for dinner. Plus, I don't make DD(Alyssa -8) eat dinner with us so it works out great for all of us. The major evening event is usually happening in the club during late seating so we just feed her early or let her eat with the club. It really is just a matter of preference, there are many people who really like early seating and hate to eat dinner so late.

Thanks LeiLani.......by the way, my family is on the pirate ship as well.

Well, early seating works best for my family, especially my DD (10). Lisa likes to eat dinner with us. She doesn't like the choices if she eats with the group. I know my kids are spoiled with Jim's cooking, so they are definately eating off the Main Menu - no chicken fingers for them.
We have tried late seating before, but it interferes with the activities in the Lab and she loves those. Also, if she eats earlier she is good to go until midnight. If she eats later, she starts slowing down at dinner and has fallen asleep there many times. She is then disappointed to have missed the events in the Lab at night. When she does fall asleep in a restarurant, her Dad has been known to carry her out of the restaurant like "Simba" (Think about how they hold the lion cub at the end of the Lion King). She prefers that doesn't ever occur again, but if she falls asleep, you just never know . . .
I think there are 5 or 6 10 year old girls from this DIS group, so they should have fun together. Lisa is getting to meet OhioMinnie's KT this Saturday at the Magic Kingdom.

Thanks for your imput......so far we are still sticking with early seating.

Didn't know about the "Lab" stuff in the early evening in the kids club.

They definitely will! On "lobster night" on my 7 day I asked for 2nds and 3rd, but on 2nds and 3rds I asked for ONLY lobster, not for the side dishes that I had NO intention of eating.

That night, dh ordered turkey, dressing and vegie. It wasn't so hot and he picked on it. The server noticed he was picking and asked if he liked it. *I* ended up having to ask for a replacement dinner for him b/c he didn't want to bother anyone. He ended up getting lobster and enjoying it MUCH more!

Karen, how is the puppy and your diet??? Sorry I have not e mailed you lately-been busy here with school stuff and a bad tooth. Yuck-Root Canal on Thursday!!!

Puppy is still a puppy but seems to be doing well. Still has her little biting episodes when she gets too worked up. Finding that wearing her out consistantly seems to help (a tired puppy is a well behaved puppy)

Diet. Well, I'm fluctuating up and down between three pounds. Up one day, down the next, up the next, down the next. Weird! I am taking the puppy on a lot of walks (see above about tired puppies) so that's making me at least FEEL more fit. Sunday we did 6 miles--4 in the morning, 2 in the evening! Trying not to eat unless I'm truly physiologically hungry.

Will try to exhibit self control at Disney!

LeiLani: Yes, we will be joining you & Gus on the 9AM Pirate Cruise. DD will be siked to have someone to hang out with. She likes to go to the pool but gets bored if there is no one to play with. She is an only child and I find alot of times kids are already paired up or just doing there own thing already as a group and it is awkward for her to jump in. Although she is usually not to shy about trying.

There is no turning back now.

Your cadaverous pallor portrays an aura of forboding. Almost as though you sense a disquieting metamorphosis. Is this haunted room ACTUALLY stretching? Or is it your imagination, hmmmm?

Sorry, your post just reminded me of that....

I'm afraid that once my VISA bill comes due I will have a "cadaverous pallor!"

gotta wonder who is just sitting around at their computer just WAITING to grab the next TOP which is coming up.....

Well, you all get around for the day don't you?

A number of pages back, some were talking shoes. I have two words for footwear. New Balance. I'm an 11 4E, and am very picky on footwear. I almost excusively go to their store now as I always can get what I'm looking for there. Shoe Carnival also usually has a decent selection of their products.

And I guess we're going to just take over the Pirate ship, hmm?

Have a good evening.
