Well - Finally got the return reservations worked out with USAirways..... Changed our return flight to 130pm - don't have to rush then... and Kristin's to 250pm. I couldn't get hers any earlier - and she'll love it as she flies from Orlando to Pittsburgh to Clarksburg and finally to Morgantown... Oh well - ya gotta do what ya gotta do.....

Stacey - sorry the day started badly for you.....

Trying to decide if I'm going to drive to Weirton after work tonight - visit the parents prior to leaving for SF....

Be back on later from work - if it's not too crazy...

I was really rooting for him since his accident. He made such great strides in his partial recovery just by sheer willpower and determination....and a LOT of hard work. It was great that he didn't just become a "victim."

Karen - I agree. Very sad to have a life ended so young. He did so much in those 9 years. Fighting for his own health and the health of others. Definately someone that everyone could look up to. He never did give up, he never became a victim. He was much more of a superhero in those 9 years than he did on screen.

Good afternoon all. Gosh, had to read a novel before I could post.

Worked all weekend..........at home. I think I spent half the weekend at Home Depot spending money. I just enjoy it so much more when it is a clothing store!

I can't believe we are only 10 weeks away. I have so much to do before then. I will be in Orlando the night of Oct. 26, all day the 27 and all day 28. Fly over to Atlanta at 8 p.m. on the 28th. Then I'll be back to Orlando on the night of Nov. 7, all day on the 8th, then in meetings during the day of the 9th and 10th. Fly home on the evening of the 10th. Anyone going to be around during those times?

Okay, work to do.

Hi Everyone....

Well, I have been reading and reading and reading trying to get up to speed on all the happenings in this thread. I started out reading every 10 pages, couldn't keep up.I tryed every 20....still, not much progress. I tryed starting at the last post and going back every ten pages and that mde no sense at all . Soooo, I went to about Sept (this year) and speed read, skimmed, skipped a couple pages here and there, got lost as to where I left off and I think am am caught as best I can be at this point. BTW, Thank you for the Anniversary Wishes to DH & Me on the 12th.

Cruising will be: myself - Mary Ann(41), DH - Jim (42), DD - Julia (8)

About Us: I am a in-home day provider. Right now I have a 6 week old and am just loving my job!!! DH is a truck driver/dispatcher and just shakes his head at my compulsive vacation planning. DD is a good natured 3rd grader who likes just about anything and basically goes with the flo (I don't know who she gets it from).

We are in 8572 (can we play tag, huh, can we, can we???)and have late seating(just changed today from early). We will be flying in from Boston late on the 17th and staying at MCO Marriott and renting a car to drive to the port. We want to be there by 11AM.

I paid off the cruise this AM and booked St Lucia Excusions. Mary, can you add myself and DD to the 9Am Priate Excursion . DH wants to do the golfing. Is anyone else golfing? He likes to hit the ball often. Wants to be sure to get his money's worth .

Mary, I enjoy reading your newsletter and was wondering if I could mail you a pitcure of my family to add. I am computer illiterate. Also I will PM you about buttons. Just for DD and me.

Gail, so sorry to read you had to cancel. That must have been a tough decision to make. We will try to book the dis brunch once on board. Is that still how it is being done?

Have they set the schedule yet? It is hard to plan things not knowing when the have the special evenings booked for.

Well, that's all for now. I just wanted to let you all know I have enjoyed reading all the info and learning a bit about my fellow cruisers. I will try not to get so far behind again and post more often.

Mary Ann - Rich (Leilani's DH - DVC4US) and I are golfing on St. Thomas. I'm not sure where else he is golfing - so PM her and check. We'd love to have your DH join us there if he is planning on golfing on St. Thomas.

Finally had a chance to get online today and had to catch up as usual.

It was sad to hear about Christopher Reeves today. Brittany was in the room when I heard it on the news and had to explain to her about the accident and that he played Superman. I am looking for the movies now, because I think it would be great for the kids to see them. And Mary what you said was so right, he was an exceptional individual.

Charlotte - I meant to tell you a few days ago that DH will be golfing on the cruise. He is golfing in St Lucia and in St Thomas. Virgil is also golfing in St Thomas.

Mary Ann - I also have an 8yo DD who will be cruising. We should get them together. And like Virgil said DH will be golfing in St Lucia and with Virgil in St Thomas. He would love to have someone join him in St Lucia if your DH wants to golf. Also, he and Virgil would love to have him join them in St Thomas. We have a DIS brunch planned for the last sea day(12/26) at 10:30am. The tables we have reserved for this are full, but if you and your DH would like to join us, just plan to make a Palo brunch reservation for this time. DCL has not set the dinning schedule yet and when I talked to them the other day they said it would probably be the end of October or beginning of Nov. It does make it hard to plan, so we are all waiting impatiently for DCL to release it. One last thing, regarding late seating for dinner. We are all trying to get on the same rotation and at tables near each other for dinner. Diana(Dancid) is handling this and if you would like to join us just drop her a PM. She is at WDW right now, so it might take a couple of days for her to get back to you.

If any of you know anyone who would be intrested in tickets for the MVMCP on Friday 12/17 -I have 4 adult tickets and one child ticket. One of the adult tickets could be used as a child as all they do is swipe them through. I would even be willing to give one of the adult tickets away at the child's rate. You can pm or e mail me. If not I am going to post them soon on E Bay. I wonder if I colud post this on the DIS boards?? Does anyone know who I can contact to ask that question as I do want to follow the rules.
We also have LTT reservations for 12/17 at 4:10pm for a party of 6 if someone wants to take over that ressie.

Well I am so bumbed that I will not be crusing with you all. It truly is a total disapointment not meet this wonderful bunch of people.
I will be thinking of you all. I hope someone does a mini trip report on the board when you are all crusing.

We did book the 1/4 - 4 night Magic. This will be a first on the Magic. The children will still get to go and I will not have to disapoint them as they were looking forward to this trip.

Of course you can play tag with us! Do me a favor and drop me a pm with your info including cabin number and that you want to play. I need to update the list and I might forget to look here.

I am almost all caught up at work, and here.....maybe if I start to wrap & box Christmas gifts, and address cards, I won't feel so pushed.

I read somewhere on the boards the CMs appreciate wrapped candy, so I thought I should buy a bag or two for the cruise. Then I realized the candy would never make the trip. Chocolate, peanuts, caramel, etc. all call my name. Anyone have suggestions for little thank yous?

We are early seating. I must really check the exact times for that.

We figured the kids would have complained too much if we booked the late seating.

Anyones comments on the advantages and disadvantages to early and late seating with kids would be much appreciated.

My kids are 6 and 10 years of age.

DVC4US: DH is glad to have someone to golf with on St Lucia. St Thomas is X-mas Day and we will be hanging out together but thanks for the invite from both you and Virgil. I will definately try for the Palo ressies. I tryed to pm Diana about our late seating but it came back as an invalid user name????

We should defiantely get the kids together. As I said she is pretty laid back and loves the kid's club.

afff: I like having more time to get ready for dinner. Even going to the show most nughts there is still time to get ready AFter the show. I just perfer that. Most people with young kids do not want late seating and it tends to be more sought after for that reason. Most of the time my DD would rather not eat with us (Mom, Dad WHO???)anyway so it doesn't matter to us
